I just got out of the airport and Leah said she would be near the back, as soon as I looked my eyes connected with hers. I walked as quick as possible, which turned into a run. I dropped my bag and jumped into her arms, I pulled her mask down and kissed her. "I am so proud of you" Leah said with tears in her eyes.

She put me down and wiped tears away from my eyes, I done the same for her. "We're so silly" leah said smiling at me, "wouldn't have it any other way my love" I said kissing her. "We probably should stop in case anyone recognises us" I said pulling away, leah looks at me with a sad face. "I have my hood up, they'll never know" Leah said smiling at me. "Shush, I need some sleep" Leah raised her eyebrow. "In your dreams" I reply before headed to her car. "Yours or mine?" Leah asked, "mine" I reply smiling. I miss my home.

When we got home I feel asleep on the couch immediately, when I woke up I saw a blanket around me and there was a pillow at my head. My heart felt warm knowing it was Leah. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and closed my eyes. I felt a body hovering over me, "I know your awake bels" Leah said making me laugh, my eyes shot open. "Did you see me close them" I say and she nods. "Anyways I've got a surprise for you, I know your just up so I'll give you a few until you are ready" Leah said with a big smile on her face. "What are you up to" i say grinning, she pecks my lips. "Nothing" she says walking away.

She brought me a glass of water, i took a sip before telling her I was ready. She held out a blindfold, "is it that big of a secret" I ask her and she nods. She placed it on and started walking, "is it in the house?" I asked her confused why we weren't going outside. "Yep" she replied leaving me upstairs. We got to the top and walked a few paces. I assumed we were next to my bedroom and music room. She opened one of the doors and led me in. She took off the blindfold and my jaw dropped.

There was petals on my rug in my music room with made a love heart, there was a rose and a box beside it. I turned around, "I know how many times I messed up, I was jealous and immature, I felt like I was always on edge, wanting to find something wrong in our relationship just because it felt too good to be true. This feeling inside me whenever I'm around you is a feeling I never want to end, I will never understand why you gave me another chance but I promise you I will never hurt you ever again and i will treat you like you deserved to be treated, how I should of treated you. I loved you yesterday, I love you today and I always will. Please will you be my girlfriend... again?" Leah asked and I had tears in my eyes, I couldn't speak. I felt like I was gonna burst out crying. I nodded and I gave her a hug, she pulled my legs up and I wrap them around her.

I pulled from the hug and gave her a kiss, "I love you so much. I never stopped loving you and I never will. You make me so happy leah Williamson" I say with my shaken voice. "There a box I need you to open" she said pointing. I grabbed it and I felt so nervous, I opened it up and removed a cloth that was covering it. I saw a gold necklace that had 2 hearts together. "Look on the back" leah said pointing to the necklace. I turned it around and saw writing, it said 'pain is temporary, we're forever' she remembered. I jumped into her arms, "how did I get so lucky" I said kissing her. "I'm the lucky one" Leah said kissing my forehead.

It's been a few days since leah asked me to be her girlfriend and it's been great. Leah told me that she had help from Lucy to set everything up which I think was really sweet of her. Leah said that the England team comes out today on who will be in the provisional squad, then the week after they'll figure out the 23 players.

We decided to get lunch at the cafe just down the road. When we walked in I didn't see Brian, "where's Brian" I asked Leah as we sat down. "I'm not sure, maybe he's in the back" leah replied looking at the menu. Before I knew it I heard people shouting welcome back, I turned around and saw Brian and his team with a cake and cheering. I looked back at leah and she had a grin on her face. "You planned this!" I said and Leah just smiled at me. I got up to give them all hugs, "thank god your back, this place nearly went bust because you weren't here getting my food" Brian said and me and Leah burst out laughing.

We spoke a little about my time at city and he congratulated me on the play off win. We eventually got food and as we were eating Leah got a phone call. She excused herself and took the call. Her expression was priceless, she was cheesing the whole time, all I heard was 'yeah' 'thank you' etc so I didn't really know what was going on. I assumed she made the provisional squad. When she ended it she came over to me and picked me up, spinning me around. "What's happened?" I said smiling at her, "I'm captain. I'm gonna England captain" she said in disbelief. "Shut up. Are you being serious" I said shocked, she nodded. "Oh my god I am so proud of you" I said kissing her.

We soon finished up and she let Brian know but told him not to tell anyone, he was over the moon.

We left and Leah phoned her mum telling her she would be around in roughly 10 minutes. I don't think I've ever seen her this excited before.

We got to Amanda's house and she was so pleased to see us both. We sat down in the living room and Leah took a deep breath, "I'm gonna be captain for England" leah said as a smile appeared on her face, "No your not. Stop it" Amanda said as tears formed in her eyes, "I am mum, I really am" leah said as a few tears fell down her face, my eyes started to well up as well. "Oh my god bubba" Amanda said hugging Leah. They both were crying which made me cry a little.

We stayed with her mum for the rest of the day and her brother and a few other family members joined us. It was a first time I'd met them all, they were all so welcoming. "Right we best be off" Leah said as she got up, we said bye to everyone before heading home.

"Your family is so proud of you" I said to leave as we drove home. "There your family too" Leah says holding onto my hand. "I can't wait until we have a family" leah said trying to hide her smile, "me too" i replied as she kissed my hand.

"I need to go home" leah said as we got to my house, "you are silly" I said smiling at her. "I need to pack I don't have long" leah said and I frowned. "Please stay with me tonight, I'll help you tomorrow I promise" I said trying to persuade her. She took a while, "please baby" I said again, "okay fine" leah said and a big smirk grew on my face. "You know I can't say no to you that's not fair" leah said getting in the huff. "No my problem babe, come on I need a cuddle" i aid getting out the car.

We went into my bedroom and got changed, Leah was quick and already in bed. I soon joined her, "I love you" I said smiling into her chest. "I love you too" Leah said. As I was laying down I realised it felt great to be around a family again.
