I didn't know how to feel or what to say. Leah was down on one knee right in front of me. Before I could say anything my body jolted up. It was only a dream.

When I got a taxi home last night I went straight to sleep on the sofa. I looked for my phone only to find over a hundred miss calls from Leah and messages like I shouldn't of let you go home or I'm sorry.

I replied. It's fine it was just a miss understanding, I'll talk soon.

I didn't want her to be worrying about anything when she was at after party event at Trafalgar Square.

Flashback to last night.

As I sat on the cold stairs I heard somebody rushing out. "Baby, baby please I'm so sorry. It's not what it looks like" Leah said coming over to me. "What now leah. I swear to god." I said raising my voice. "I was dancing with Beth and Jordan, I swear I was. I didn't realise Beth left." Leah said trying to explain herself, "you were so close to her Leah, do you now think that makes me question us" I said and I could see it hurt her. "Look Leah all im trying to say is, can you not be more careful around jordan. It's clear she wants you. I don't want to be pushed to the side again" I said my voice breaking at the end. "Baby I swear your never gonna be pushed to the side, your the only person I want to be with. I swear to you I never realised the whole situation. I promise I never." She said pulling my hand from my face. "Can you just give me a little space tonight, I'm gonna go home" I said getting up. "Your leaving?" Leah questioned and I looked at her. "Right yeah, sorry" she said as I walked down the remaining stairs, "I love you" Leah said as I walked out. "Love you too" I muttered back to her, I looked back and she had a small smile on her face.

Back to present.

I wasn't angry or mad or anything it's was just weird. I wanted her to enjoy her night after I left, I felt a bit out of the loop as well as I'm Scottish it's weird celebrating with them. Well I wasn't celebrating but you get what I mean.

Knowing Leah everything that happened last night was probably still on her mind, so I decided to go to Trafalgar Square but first I needed food.

I went to Brian's shop and when I walked in there was lots of England flags dotted about, I sat in our usual spot and he came over all happy. "Happy?" I said with a chuckle, "very" he replied. "I can't believe Leah has just captained them to win the euros. She's been coming in here ever since she was little. I still remember that little shy but mature girl coming in with her pocket money, to buy a small chocolate cake or sweetie" he said reliving his past memories, "and when she always used to speak about playing for arsenal and hopefully England. I knew she could do it but for everything to happen so soon, it's just crazy" he said with tears in his eyes. I got up and hugged him. He's played a role bigger than he could of thought he had in Leah's journey and even mine.

"You better get Leah to come down he as soon as, we'll after celebrations of course" he said with a laugh. "Definitely, I'll get her down as quick as I can. Right Brian I'll see you later" I replied and we said our goodbyes.

When I arrived I took a photo and sent it to Leah, she immediately opened it and sent a pic of her face all shocked back to me. She phoned me and I answered.

'You should of told me, I'll get you vip. Can you meet a staff member in 5 minutes around the back gate?' Leah said very excited.

'Course' I replied and started to make my way around.

I revived the pass and got though security. I saw civ taking pictures with fans which me feel better knowing she was here.

"Hello young one" she said breaking away from the fans. I rolled my eyes, "hey, how was it last night" I said and vivs eyes widened, "Beth told her whole family about us" she said and I was shocked, "really?" I asked and viv nodded. "They loved it. They like me so I'm fine" she said chuckling. "I knew they would. Your a likeable person" I said and viv nudges me, "aw that's nice of you" she said and we both laughed. "Don't get used to it" I said laughing. "So you and Leah okay?" Viv asked and I smiled, "yeah just a miss understanding" i said and she nodded, "I'm sorry I could of split them up but I didn't realise when beth left to see me, that they two were still together" viv said.

The team started to come out and Leah noticed me straight away and had a huge smile on her face and a sense of relief. Beth came after her and had a similar smile for viv. They both whispered in each other's eyes which made me confused but I'm sure Leah's will tell me.

There was a lot of people that turned up which shows how massive this is for the country and for womens football. We've got recognition like no other.

I started to sign a few things from fans and take pictures, it was a little weird knowing that little girls actually look up to me and want my autograph.

When it ended Leah and Beth waved us to come round the back. "Hi girls" I said as I walked over, ellie came and gave me a hug first. "Not fair I wanted a hug first" Georgia said making everyone laugh. I hugged all my city girls and Leah was standing waiting on hers, I went over and wrapped my arms around her. "Your incredible" I said so only she would here. "Thank you for all your support, cause I wouldn't be able to do it without you" she said back making me feel very appreciated. Everyone started to get their families and then it was just me and Leah.

"What'd you say to Beth to at the start?" I asked her and a smile grew on her face. "They're our girls" she said making me go red. "Has anyone told you how cute you are" I said wrapping my arms round her waist. "Mhm yeah I think this small girl did, she's Scottish and has a great left foot" Leah said and i playfully nudge her. "Your beautiful" leah said picking up my chin to face her. "I've never met anyone so genuine as you, I love how involved you are with my family and even when your rival country is lifting a trophy you still came to support me" I giggled at the last part, "I love you so much Leah, I'll always support you, even if it's England" I rolled my eyes, "I can't wait to see what the future holds for us both" I reply and with that Leah kissed me. We didn't pull away, we didn't care about the cameras or the fans. We had each other and that was all we needed.

"Babe I'm away to shower" I said as she was on the phone. She nodded and I headed to shower. I put my playlist on, and the second song was actually my own. Always and forever. When it was playing I sang the lyrics, along with the songs that came after. When I finished And walked out I saw a confused look on Leah's face. "You okay baby?" I asked her sitting down beside her. "What song was that you sang" she said and I immediately knew what she was on about. "Mine" I replied scratching my neck, nervous for her reply. She just looked at me confused. " I may or may not be releasing music" I said and her eyes widen, "are you serious? That's so fucking good" she said hugging me, "ew your still wet" she said and I laughed, "no shit Sherlock" I said giggling. I let her know about everything, she was really supportive and so happy for me. "You have an unbelievable voice" she said playing always and forever again... "thanks baby" I said getting changed.

"I have lots of songs downloaded and I'm gonna release another one soon, you can pick which one" I said smiling showing her my phone. "That's so much pressure but sure" she said making me laugh. She scrolled though and listened to a few songs and eventually picked one.

Leah seemed to really like this song as she had it playing for far too long, I mean I've already heard it enough now she's playing it on repeat. It was stuck in my head. As we both got ready for the huge celebration party she played all 3 of my songs and sang along to them all. It made me really happy knowing she liked them. Little does she know half the songs I made are for her.
