Y/n POV

"Jane I don't know if I can do this," I whined. I didn't know if I could tell her about my past. I mean I just met her yesterday, but it feels like I've known her for years.

"You can, I know," Jane said. I sighed deeply.

"When," I started, "When I was 5, My m-mom died in a car crash," I choked out. Tears threatening to spill.

"I don't have a mama, either," Jane cut in.

"I was in the car w-when it happened," I continued, "W-We we're heading to choir practice, when a van s-slammed into my moms s-side of the car," a few tears slid down my cheeks, "I was perfectly fine, b-but my m-mom died on impact," At this point my eyes were waterfalls.

"I'm sorry," Jane spoke softly.

"It's not your fault, you weren't even there," I assured her before continuing, "M-My mom was loved by e-everyone in our s-small town, p-population 98. They needed s-someone to blame, a-and they chose me. All m-my f-family members st-stopped talking to me. Teachers gave m-me detention for n-no reason. I-I had no one," I choked out through sobs.

"What about your papa?" Jane asked.

"My dad?" I asked. She nodded her head, "H-He is a terrible man." I started. My sadness slowly turned into anger, "He hit me everyday, he yelled at me for small things. He made me do everything. Clean the house, go to the store, make dinner. If I didn't do my chores I would get hit," My anger faded away and was once again replaced with sadness, "I-If I mentioned my m-mom I would get hit, if I ate extra f-food I would get hit."

"Why didn't you tell?" Jane questioned.

"I did the p-police new, they d-didn't care. It was the w-worst part." I said.

I broke down in front of Jane. She hugged me and I sobbed into her shoulder. We fell asleep like that.

I love how this is slowly becoming a Jane/Eleven x Reader. XD. Don't worry Will will play a huge part in this. :)

"Hey, wake up," I heard a familiar voice whisper, Jim.

I sat up and stretched my arms. I looked over at Jane as she did the same.

"Why aren't you in your bedroom Jane?" Jim asked crossing his arms.

"I was asking Y/n about her pas-"

"I had a nightmare and called her in here," I cut Jane off.

"Really?" Jim questioned.

"Yes," I said. He sighed, and walked into the kitchen. Jane at me disapprovingly.

"Friends don't lie," She said.

"Well I do," I said and walked into the kitchen.

"Jim, I'm going out," I stated before walking towards the door.

"What about breakfast?" He asked.

"Not hungry!" I yelled as I walked out the door.

I wonder if they have an arcade around here.
