When we go home/destroyed home

(Wednesday December 20th)
Jermaine POV
It's Wednesday morning and I'm sitting up on the couch while my baby has her head in my lap laying down sleep I stroke her head both me and my baby were exhausted our babies were ready to go home we've been in the hospital since Saturday night me and Janet were hoping we'd be able to go home today with our babies it's been a very long and hard few days but our babies were strong and doing good their doctor was taking  very good care of them making sure they were good but our babies we're ready to go home I pull my wife closer to me holding her after what has happened I made a vow to myself to not leave my wife's side and our children I knew I had work things I need to do but everything was put on hold my family needed me they come first we were going to get through this as a family together and I knew I need to be strong for my baby after 30 mins janet stirs in her sleep she opens her eyes seeing Jermaine sitting on Skylar bed rubbing her head he kisses her head janet smiles
Skylar and Matteo wake up
Skylar: hi daddy *she rubs her eyes*
Jermaine: hi baby *he kisses her head* how's daddy's princess 
Skylar: tried daddy we go home
Jermaine: not yet baby hopefully soon
Matteo: daddy
Jermaine: yes baby
Matteo: did they fix our ouchies
Jermaine: yes they did baby you guys are going to be okay
Janet gets up
Skylar: hi mama
Jan: hi my babies *she smiles sitting on Matteo bed* you guys feel okay
Matteo: yeah mama we want to go home
Skylar: yeah mama
Jan: I know babies soon
As Janet says that the doctor comes in
Doctor Kevin: good morning how are my patients feeling this morning *he smiles* good morning Mr And Mrs Mauldin
Jan: good morning doctor
Jermaine: good morning doctor
Matteo: we want to go home
Doctor Kevin: I know you guys do
Jan: when can they go home
Doctor Kevin: should be able to go home today if everything looks good
Jermaine: that's great news
Doctor Kevin: I'm going to bring you guys your breakfast
Jan: thank you doctor
He leaves and comes back 10 mins later with their food
Matteo: thank you
Skylar: thank you
Jermaine and Janet sit and watch the kids eat their food they were relieved that their kids we're going to be okay
Janet sits on Jermaine's lap
Jermaine: you okay love
Jan: yeah baby I'm so glad their okay
Jermaine: me to love how are you doing? *he looks at her holding her*
Jan: I'm *she looks at him* trying to hold myself together baby I feel like the worst mother and wife in the world
Jermaine: baby your not don't say that *he looks at her*
Jan: baby I wasn't there when our children were shot I almost died in a bathtub I didn't think about you during that  time I was hurting losing our baby everything with the tour and Danny
Jermaine: baby you were hurting and you still are we now have to grieve the loss of our baby and make sure our babies are good to I'm going to protect us no matter what *he kisses her* it's time to relax pull back keep a low profile and focus on our family
Jan: I couldn't agree more baby I love you so so much I thank god for my babies
Jermaine: I love you more and we thank god for you mama what would we do without mama
Matteo: mama can we watch a movie on your laptop
Jan: actually that's a great idea what do you think daddy
Jermaine: yeah let's do it
Jermaine pushes Matteo's bed with Skylar's putting them together
Jermaine and Janet get in bed with them cuddling them they turn on a movie for them
(Time skip 7pm)
Jermaine janet and the kids are getting ready to leave the hospital the kids have just finished changing their clothes when Janet's phone rings
Jan: hello
It's Tina
Tina: janet I know you guys are still at the hospital but turn on the tv right now
Jan: what's going on Tina
She turns on the tv
News reporter: breaking news we're here in front of the home of janet Jackson and Jermaine dupri where a few days ago there was a shooting here and now this beautiful home is burned to the ground completely destroyed the only thing left is the gate which has been tagged on with the words she's mine
Jan: baby *she looks at him*
Jermaine: shh it's okay baby *he holds her*
Skylar: daddy our house
Matteo: yeah daddy it's gone
Jan: why now *she lets tears fall she puts her hands over her face*
Jermaine: I know baby it's going to be okay
Matteo: daddy now we can't go home
Jermaine: yes we can baby
Jan: we have another house we can go to baby
After another hour they leave the hospital
As they get in the car paparazzi snaps photos janet blocks the kids with a jacket  so paparazzi doesn't get pics of them
They pull away and start to drive
Jermaine links his hand with Janet's as he drives
Jermaine: love where are we going
Jan: um
Just then her phone rings
Jan: hello
Tina: janet where are you
Jan: I'm in the car what's going on
Tina: your guys home in Malibu has been destroyed to
Jan: are you serious
Tina: it's completely gone janet
Jan: *she looks at Jermaine* thank you Tina
Jermaine: so now what love
Jan: I guess we go to the house in palms springs for now baby and then we eventually have to find new homes
Jermaine: okay baby
Skylar: daddy I hungry
Matteo: me to daddy
Jermaine: okay babies since we're going to the house in Palm Springs we have to go to the store love to fill the refrigerator up
Jan: yeah baby
Jermaine: but I think I have some snacks in here cause we have a drive
Jan: yeah we do love a three hour drive
Jermaine gives the kids snacks some sandwiches fruit snacks and chips
(3 1/2 hours later 11:00pm)
After going to the store they finally pull into the driveway
Jermaine takes the bags out of the car as janet helps the kids out the car they go inside
