I want mama for my birthday

(Saturday July 31st)
Jermaine POV
It's Saturday morning 9am  I was up dressed I got downstairs to put on a pot of coffee when my mom comes downstairs and in the kitchen
Pat: good morning son
Jermaine: good morning mom
Pat: how did you sleep son
Jermaine: I slept okay
Pat: how's Janet have you talked to her
Jermaine: we talked last night she called me when she landed in New York
Pat: how did the kids react when she left
Jermaine: they cried they didn't want her to leave
Pat: how about you
Jermaine: I was sad I hate when she leaves and we're apart but I know it's work it's something she has to do
Pat: how long is she gone this time *she looks at him*
Jermaine: a few weeks *he looks at her*
Pat: are you sad
Jermaine: I miss her already we had such a great and amazing time in Anguilla it was romantic it was beautiful our vow renewal was so much fun it was beautiful janet looked beautiful the night was perfect but a few days later I heard her crying in bed and the kids heard her crying
Pat: she's grieving and going through so much she's trying to balance being a wife motherhood and her career plus she's grieving
Jermaine: yeah i know and she's an incredible mother and wife she kills it I just know right now is hard she's grieving she now away from us
Pat: continue to support her baby
Jermaine: always I need to make breakfast and I need to go get some balloons for teo
Pat: how do you feel you have an 11 year old
Jermaine: it's so crazy me and janet are so proud of him *he smiles*
Pat: what are you doing for him today? *she looks at him*
Jermaine: whatever he wants to do it's his birthday I'll be back mom I'm going to get some balloons for him *he kisses her cheek*
Pat: okay be careful baby
Jermaine: I will
He leaves the house and runs to the store to get the birthday boy some balloons
After being gone for 45 mins he comes back to the house to the sounds of chatting and the kids he goes in the living room setting the balloons up in the living room after 30 mins he comes in the kitchen
Jermaine goes in the kitchen to the kids and his parents and Janet's family
Jermaine: hey everyone
Tj: hey Jermaine
Skylar: good morning daddy
Matteo: good morning daddy
Jermaine: good morning my babies *he hugs them* and happy birthday baby daddy has a surprise for you after breakfast
They sit down and eat
Prince: uncle Jermaine how long is auntie gone this time
Jermaine: a few weeks again
After 30 mins they finish eating breakfast and clear the table
Jermaine: alright everyone follow me
They go in the living room
Jermaine: surprise baby
Prince: oh wow look at all your balloons
Matteo doesn't say anything
Jermaine: do you like them baby
Matteo: I don't want balloons I want mama to come home *he starts to cry and then runs to his room*
Jermaine: excuse me
Jermaine runs upstairs to Matteo's room he opens the door to see Matteo facing away from him he goes over to his bed and sits down
Jermaine: teo baby what's wrong
He doesn't say anything
Jermaine: teo look at daddy please
He turns and looks at him with tears in his eyes
Jermaine: what's wrong baby
Matteo: I want mama daddy today is my birthday and mama is not here
Jermaine: I know baby but mama has to work
Matteo: that's not fair daddy she's our mama not theirs
Jermaine: I know baby I know you miss mama I miss mama to so you don't want to have a party today for your birthday
Matteo: no not without mama *he looks at him* we want mama and you to stay home
Jermaine: I know you do baby but sometimes mama and daddy have to work and go away for a bit you like it when mama and daddy are both home
Matteo: yeah
Jermaine: so what do you want to do today then baby
Matteo: I want mama daddy
Jermaine: I know baby I can't bring mama here she's working how about we cuddle and watch some movies or we can go to a museum you want to do that which one do you want to do
Matteo: both
Jermaine: okay can you get dressed for daddy
Matteo: can we FaceTime mama
Jermaine: once your dressed
Jermaine goes back downstairs
Michael: is he okay son
Jermaine: is really upset he doesn't want to have a party
Pat: did he say why
Jermaine: cause janet isn't here he wants her here
Pat: so he doesn't want to do anything
Jermaine: he wants to go to the museum and he wants to come back here and watch movies
Pat: poor baby
After a few mins Matteo comes downstairs
Matteo: daddy I'm ready
Jermaine: okay baby you have your jacket
Matteo: yeah daddy can we call mama
Jermaine: yeah baby
Just as he says that Jermaine phone rings it's Janet
He answers the phone
Jermaine: hey baby
Jan: hi love
Jermaine: how are you
Jan: I'm okay baby I'm sad I'm not there I miss you guys so much already where's our babies where's the birthday boy
Jermaine: teo baby come here
Matteo: yes daddy
Jermaine: someone very special is on the phone come sit with daddy
Matteo and Skylar sit on the couch with him
Jan: hi my babies
Skylar: hi mama
Matteo: hi mama
Jan: happy birthday to mama's sweet big boy mama loves you so much baby
Matteo: thank you mama I miss you
Jan: I know I miss you to all of you
Jermaine: our baby boy misses mama
Jan: Awwl what are you doing for your birthday baby
Matteo: daddy is taking me to the museum
Jermaine: yeah he wanted to do the museum and then come home and watch movies
Matteo: in the movie theater daddy with popcorn and candy
Jermaine: candy hmm *he looks at janet*
Jan: no candy don't even think about Jermaine
Matteo: but it's my birthday mama please
Jan: no candy
Jermaine: aww come on baby
Jan: baby then their going to be up all night no candy
Jermaine: okay
Jan: teo baby you didn't want a party
Matteo: I want you to be here mama
Jan: okay we'll celebrate when I get back okay
Matteo: okay
Jermaine: teo go put your shoes on baby let daddy talk to mama for a minute
Matteo: okay
Jermaine: baby

Jermaine: are you okay
Jan: yeah I'm okay it's just a lot baby
Jermaine: I know it is my love teo broke down in tears today
Jan: why
Jermaine: because he said he misses mama it's his birthday and he just wanted mama and mama can't be here
Jan: Awwl my poor baby I'll make it up to him when I get home I promise
Jermaine: I'm going to take him out and take him shopping to get some clothes and shoes and take him to the museum get some popcorn and snacks for us to watch some movies in the theater when we come home
Jan: that breaks my heart to know he cried how are Skylar and the twins doing
Jermaine: their good baby the twins woke up once last night but other than that everyone is good
Jan: I miss you guys so much
Jermaine: teo said he wanted mama and daddy to stay home
Jan: I know they love when we're home with them they hate when one of us has to leave sadly it's part of our jobs
Jermaine: yeah it is love
Jan: it's just really hard we love our careers but being mama and daddy is top priority on the list always
Jermaine: yes it is baby no matter what our family always comes first and making sure their good and happy and healthy
Jan: yes baby exactly
Jermaine: I also have to make sure my wife is good to *he looks at her*
Jan: I'm doing my best baby
Tyler: your wife is a champ Jermaine she's doing great

Jermaine: thank you guys for that *he smiles*
As Matteo comes back downstairs
Matteo: daddy I'm ready now
Jermaine: alright birthday boy
Jan: baby I'll let you go so you can go have fun with our birthday boy
Jermaine: okay Skylar teo say bye to mama
Skylar: bye mama
Jan: bye my sweet princess mama loves you so much
Skylar: I love you mama I miss you mama

Skylar: *she whispers in his ear*

Matteo: when do you come home mama
Jan: I'm not sure yet baby it will be a few weeks
Matteo: that's not fair *he gets sad*

Jan: I know your sad I know you guys miss me and mama is so sorry mama misses you guys so much already but mama has to finish this I promise as soon as it's done I'm going to be coming home and give you guys all the kisses hugs and snuggles you want okay

Everyone gathers around her

Jermaine: your going to stay with grandma okay

Jermaine: but daddy will bring you back a surprise
Skylar: okay *she smiles*
Pat: we're going to have some fun okay *she looks at Skylar*

Jermaine: alright be good for your grandmas princess okay *he kisses her head*

Jermaine and Matteo leave the house
They drive to the museum as they pull up and get out paparazzi is right there
Matteo grabs Jermaine's hand as Jermaine takes his jacket blocking Matteo from cameras
Jermaine: please back up no pictures you guys
They go inside and are met with Joey
Joey: happy birthday Matteo *he hugs him*
Matteo: thank you *he smiles*
Joey: your so welcome let's go have some fun
They spend over three hours in the museum walking around looking at everything Jermaine watches him as he gets excited to look at everything
Jermaine: teo baby look at daddy
He turns to him
As Jermaine has his phone out his taking video
Jermaine: daddy is taking video for mama say hi
Matteo: hi mama
Jermaine: what are we doing baby
Matteo: we're at the museum for my birthday
Jermaine: our big boy and his birthday fit love are you having fun baby
Matteo: yeah
Jermaine: we miss you baby

Jermaine: me and tay tay are having a daddy and teo day say bye to mama
Matteo: bye mama I love you

Jermaine sends her all the videos
Teo and Jermaine spend two hours at the museum they leave the museum and go to a clothing store
Matteo: daddy can I get some new clothes
Jermaine: of course you can baby
They walk around so teo can pick out some outfits
Jermaine also gets outfits for Skylar and the twins
After shopping they run to the store to get popcorn and snacks for their movie night and something to make for dinner tonight
Matteo: daddy
Jermaine: yes baby
Matteo: can we get candy
Jermaine: mama said no candy
Matteo: but it's my birthday daddy please
Jermaine: okay but you can't tell mama right
Matteo: right
Jermaine also goes and picks up Matteo cake he got made and some ice cream
After 30 mins they leave going to the house
They arrive back at the house and go inside to the delicious smell of food cooking Jermaine takes the cake putting it on the counter and puts the ice cream in the freezer
Skylar: yeah cake and ice cream
Jermaine: after you eat okay
Skylar: okay daddy *she goes and hugs him* daddy missed you
Jermaine: Awwl daddy missed you to princess
Katherine: we've got dinner ready made birthday boy's favorite
The kids run to wash their hands while Jermaine puts the twins in their high chairs
Pat: did he have fun
Jermaine: yeah we had fun
They sit down to have dinner Matteo prays for their food as they start to eat
Matteo: thank you grandma
Pat: your welcome baby
Matteo: thank you grandma
Katherine: your welcome baby
(Time skip 8pm)
Jermaine has gotten all the kids bathed and gotten the twins down for the night he finishes popping the popcorn for him and the kids and grabs the snacks he goes in the living room
Jermaine: alright you guys ready
Matteo: yeah
Skylar: yeah
They go in the movie theater and sit down Jermaine puts the blankets on them and gets there snacks situated he turns on a movie
Jermaine: alright you guys ready *he looks at them excited*
Matteo: yeah
Skylar: yeah movie night with daddy
As the movie starts Katherine and pat come in and sit down with them
They all get comfortable Jermaine takes his phone out to record video for jan
Jermaine: movie night with my babies for our big boys birthday Skylar teo say hi
Skylar: hi
Matteo: hi
Jermaine: it's for mama
Skylar: hi mama
Matteo: hi mama
Jermaine: what are we doing right now
Skylar: watching a movie with daddy
Matteo: movie night with daddy and grandma's for my birthday miss you mama

After 20 mins Jermaine phone rings it's Janet
Jermaine: hello
Jan: hi baby
Jermaine: hi love
Jan: what are you guys doing
Jermaine: watching a movie in the theater
Jan: tay tay baby how was your day
Matteo: good mama it was fun
Jan: what did you do today with daddy
Matteo: we went to the museum and daddy got me new clothes and shoes
Jan: sounds fun did you tell daddy thank you
Matteo: thank you daddy *he hugs him* I love you
Jermaine: Awwl your welcome baby I love you to did you enjoy your birthday
Matteo: yeah just miss mama
Jan: I know baby I miss you to so much
After being on the phone for two hours with janet they finally Hangup he gets up taking Skylar up to her room first he lays her down in bed tucking her in he kisses her head and then goes back down to grab Matteo he takes him up to his room he puts him in bed tucking him in he kisses his head
He goes to his room and takes a shower after 20 mins he finishes and gets dressed he grabs his phone texting Janet
Jermaine: goodnight my love sweet dreams baby I love you so much we miss you
Jan: Awwl goodnight my love sweet dreams my baby I love you so much give our babies my love and kisses miss you guys so much
30 mins later Jermaine falls asleep

Matteo didn't want to do anything for his birthday without Jan
