interview with robin roberts

(Saturday November 7th) (10:30am)
Jermaine POV
It's Saturday morning and I'm laying in bed cuddling my baby as she sleeps I pull my baby closer to me pulling the blankets up on us I'm happy that my baby was getting some much needed sleep
Jermaine cuddles with Janet for another 15 mins he gets up going downstairs washing his hands he puts on a pot of coffee and decides to make some French toast Jermaine wanted to let Janet get some much needed sleep
45 mins later everyone is up and in the kitchen to have breakfast Jermaine gives janet her coffee
Jermaine: good morning my love *he smiles at her*
Jan: good morning baby *she gives him a small smile*
Jermaine: you guys go wash your hands
They all go to wash their hands
Jermaine comes up to janet kissing her lips
Janet pulls him back down to her by his shirt kissing his lips sliding her tongue in his mouth
Everyone comes back to the table 
Janet straps the twins in their high chairs
Jermaine gives everyone their plates and cuts up small pieces for the twins as janet stands in front of the twins Jermaine comes up to her kissing her head
Jermaine: love come eat
She seats down with her family
Skylar: mama
Jan: yes baby
Skylar: do you work today
Jan: yeah baby I do
Matteo: but daddy has told us you didn't have to work *he looks at her*
Jan: I know baby but mama has to work today
Skylar: does that mean your going to be gone a long time
Jan: no baby mama won't be gone  long
Matteo: we don't like when you leave mama
Jan: I know you guys don't baby but mama won't be gone long and you guys will be here with daddy *she looks at Jermaine*
Jermaine: yeah you guys have fun with daddy
Matteo: yeah but we like when both you and mama are both here daddy
Jan: I know you guys do babies but come here
They go over to her janet pulls them both on her lap
Jan: I know you guys don't like when mama and daddy have to leave for work but if we don't work then mama and daddy can't buy you guys stuff and make sure you guys have everything you guys need and the things you guys want we don't have this house and all your toys  and sometimes that means mama and daddy have to go away for a few days but mama and daddy always can't wait to come home to you guys and give you guys hugs and kisses and snuggles and do bedtime with you guys right daddy *she looks at him*
Jermaine: yup that's right
After breakfast is done and dishes are put in the dishwasher janet and Jermaine take the kids upstairs to their bedroom they get all get in bed with the kids
Skylar: are we going to watch a movie mama
Jan: yes baby
She turns on a movie for them to watch getting comfortable with her husband and their babies she had the twins sitting in between her legs
Janet turns on Bambi
She gets comfortable cuddling her hubby and their babies
Janet spends a few hours of quality time with her family it's now 2pm she gets up to go and grab a shower so she can get going
While janet is upstairs showering Jermaine has just finished making lunch for everyone he has everyone sit at the table
After 30 mins janet comes downstairs with her bag she goes in the kitchen
She looks at her children
Matteo: mama are you leaving now
Jan: yeah baby mama is leaving
Skylar: *she jumps up holding janet* no go mama you stay here *she starts to cry*
Jan: *she hugs her tight* Awwl baby mama can't
Matteo: but you always have to leave
Jan: mama isn't going to be gone that long this time
Skylar: you promise mama *she looks up at her*
Jan: I promise baby mama will be back tomorrow
Matteo: that's to long
Jan: I promise I'll be back tomorrow babies you guys are going to stay with daddy and your grandma's and your cousins are here you guys have people to play with
Jermaine: love *he looks at her*
Jan: yes baby
Jermaine: please sit down and eat before you go *he looks at her*
Jan: okay
Janet sits down as Jermaine gives her a plate he sits down with her so he can have one last meal with her before she leaves
Janet and Jermaine eat their food after 20 mins their done jermaine puts everything in the dishwasher as janet says goodbye to the kids
She hugs prince Paris and blanket first
Jan: auntie janet loves you guys so much
We love you to they all say then she goes over to Matteo and Skylar
Jan: come here baby
Skylar goes over to her crying
Jan: Awwl don't cry baby
Skylar: you stay home mama
Jan: I can't baby *she hugs her really tight kissing her cheek* mama loves you so much you going to be good for daddy *she looks at her*
Skylar: yeah I'm daddy's princess *she looks at Jermaine*
Jermaine: that's right you are
Jan: well daddy's princess you have to be good for daddy and mama will bring you a special surprise
Skylar: okay
Matteo: me to mama
Jan: yes you to baby mama has to go now give mama a hug and kiss
They hug her kissing her cheeks
They walk janet out to the car the kids stay by the door
The driver puts Janet's bag in the trunk
Jermaine: bye my love *he hugs her*
Jan: *she hugs him tightly*
As Jermaine pulls back he sees tears in Janet's eyes
Jermaine: hey what's wrong look at me
Jan: *she sniffs looking at him* it's just a lot baby I know she'll ask about mike like I can't do this
Jermaine: just answer honestly do your best baby you've got this your strong
Jan: *she looks at him* thank you baby
Jermaine: you've got this baby and when you come home we'll be waiting for you to hug you snuggle you *he kisses her lips*
Jan: I love you
Jermaine: I love you to be safe call me when you get there okay
Jan: okay baby
He kisses her again and opens her door letting her get in he closes the door watching her drive away
He goes back inside to see the kids sitting on the couch with their blankets he goes and sits down with them he looks at the twins playing with their toys on the floor
Pat: look at the twins just playing
Jermaine: *he smiles* their getting so big
(Time skip 5pm)
Janet is at their home in Malibu she had an hour before robin got to her house Preston and Cassandra have just arrived at the house she lets them in and waits for Preston to get set up
After 20 mins Preston is set up and ready janet sits in the chair as they get started
Preston: you didn't bring the fam
Jan: no mother and Michael kids are at the house jermaine is on daddy duty until I get back
Cassandra: how long are you gone?
Jan: just til tomorrow
Preston: how are you feeling about this interview
Jan: it's a lot honestly I know she'll ask about mike the last few months have been a lot
Cassandra: how has jermaine been
Jan: he has been such a huge help for me during this time his been there for me his been my rock
Preston: have you guys had some husband and wife time
Jan: um no we haven't but I think we will when everything dies down
Cassandra: you guys supposedly had husband and wife time for his birthday at least that's what I heard
Jan: we did *she smiles thinking back to that day* it was very nice it doesn't happen often cause we're so busy with the kids
Preston: how's the kids handling losing mike
Jan: they miss him I mean jr and Scarlett are to little to remember him
Cassandra: how have you been feeling
Jan: I've had a hard time I miss him so much I've had a hard time sleeping at times I cry but everyday it gets better Jermaine has just been giving me snuggles and kisses
Preston: such a good husband
Jan: his the best truly I'm so blessed and loved everyday  *she smiles*
(Time skip 6pm)
The doorbell rings janet is dressed janet goes and answers the door she lets Robin in and go to sit in her living room
Robin: are you ready to start *she smiles at her*
As she gets ready to answer her phone rings
Jan: sorry
Robin: take it
Jan: hello
Jermaine: sorry love Skylar had my phone
Jan: it's okay love
Jermaine: you look  absolutely beautiful baby
Jan: thank you *she smiles*
Robin: who is that I see the big smile on your face right now
Jan: *she looks at her smiling from ear to ear*
Jermaine: that big beautiful smile *he smiles at her* I know you have an interview to do so I'll let you go baby
Jan: okay
Jermaine: I love you
Jan: I love you to *she smiles*
She hangs up
Robin: so how are you? How's your heart?
Jan: I'm well thank you I'm doing okay *she smiles*
Robin: how is your family doing how's your mother and father? *she looks at her*
Jan: their taking it one day at a time it's hard and difficult for everyone *she looks at her*
Robin: how are Michael's children?
Jan: it's a lot for everyone *she looks at her*
Robin: how did you find out?
Jan: I was in the Bahamas filming and my assistant called me and said your brother has been rushed to the hospital it's on cnn right now
Robin: we're you headed to the airport
Jan: not at that moment I didn't know the severity of it
Robin: so did you just go back to filming
Jan: yes I did and then I tried calling back later and that's how I found out he was no longer *she looks at her*
Robin: when was the last time you saw him?
Jan: I saw him for my birthday he was at my house
Robin: what was that like
Jan: fun we had so much fun
Robin: what do you miss most about him
Jan: his silliness how much fun we had together
Robin: we saw you at the memorial service without your husband or your guys two older children why
Jan: me and my husband decided it wasn't safe for our children there were so many people there and the world was watching we didn't want them to be exposed to that and their privacy their children our children and they deserve to have privacy
Robin: we recently saw you out with his children as well as your children and your husband we don't see your children often why is that
Jan: *she looks at her and takes a breath* um their children and that's how it should stay we want them to grow up normal without cameras in face and just be kids
Robin: can we talk about your husband Jermaine
Jan: *she smiles really big* sure
Robin: we've seen you in some relationships what makes this one different what makes him different from your ex's
Jan: everything *she smiles* he is my dream come true he makes me feel safe makes me feel loved he protects me he leaves no stone unturned just being the man that he is *she smiles* being the husband and father he is
Robin: does he make you feel good about your body?
Jan: yes he does he lets me know that I'm fine and beautiful the way I am
Robin: the last time we caught you at the airport you were alot heavy how do you feel when you see those pictures
Jan: um you can always tell when I'm going through something because I put on weight it's been hard it has and I eat for comfort
Robin: how does Jermaine feel when you gain weight
Jan: he doesn't care he loves it *she laughs* my husband is so supportive and he loves me no matter my size when I'm a bit heavy he *she smiles looking down pulling at her ear*
Robin: he what
Jan: he would grab anything that was hanging over *she laughs* his probably is going to kill me for telling this story but he would grab anything that was hanging over and he would look me in my eyes and he would say I love you and this needs love to and he would kiss me and it wasn't just once he would do it all the time
Robin: that is really sweet what is the best thing about being married to him
Jan: *she smiles really big looking down at her ring* everything he is the best husband he is the best father like I really am so lucky and blessed with him truly
Robin: you guys have been married over 10 years how has marriage changed you
Jan: *she smiles* it's changed me a lot just having that support having someone to wake up next to everyday go to bed with his my best friend we do everything together it I love being a wife I love being mama to our babies
Robin: how is he as a father?
Jan: his the best father ever
Robin: you are very private about your family life why
Jan: because it's something for us it's not something between us and the world it's me my husband and our children the world has watched me grow up I know what it's like to not have a childhood and so does he and we want our children to have a childhood just be kids be normal and have fun and sadly there has been times where  the media won't let that happen
Robin: there have been rumors that your husband has been unfaithful to you
Jan: I don't know who has told the world that but it's not true everyone is so quick to jump to conclusions especially when they don't see us together but they don't know what goes on in our home their not in our marriage we're very much together *she looks at her*
Robin: so your saying there is no trouble in paradise
Jan: no matter of fact *she shakes her head*
She FaceTimes jermaine
Jermaine: hey baby
Jan: baby Robin has a question for you
Jermaine: *he moves away from the kids*
Robin: Jermaine there are rumors that you guys are having trouble in paradise
Jermaine: um I don't know where you heard that but it's not true I love my wife we're still very much together
Jan: there you have it I love you baby
Jermaine: I love you to baby
She hangs up as she does Robin notices her ring on her finger
Robin: um can you hold your hand up let's see this giant ring you have on your finger
She holds it up
Robin: it's huge and beautiful did he pick this out was it a gift
Jan: yes he did this was the ring he gave me when we renew our vows
Robin: so how did that work was it something you guys both wanted to do
Jan: yes it was something we both wanted and he was so sweet he re proposed to me on the beach with this giant heart made out of roses and it had our initials inside the heart it was just beautiful *she gets teary eyed*
Robin: how long have you guys been married
Jan: 11 years been together 13 years
Robin: that's a long time would you say your at your happiest despite losing Michael
Jan: yes I am truly happy I love my life my life is complete I have a family of my own now and it's the best thing in the world *she smiles*
Robin: so if you had to end your career now would you be content
Jan: yes I would because I have the one thing that I've always wanted the one thing that matters the most which is my family my children my husband
Robin: Do you have any new projects coming out
Jan: I have a new song called make me I recorded I will be doing a music video for that soon but other than that no
They get up as janet shows her around their home they go outside to the balcony
Robin: it's so peaceful out here
Jan: this is heaven for me I love being out here with our children me and my husband come out here alot to watch the sunset have a glass of wine and just relax this puts me to sleep the sound of the waves
After over an hour the interview is over janet changes her clothes into her pjs she makes her self something to eat
After 30 mins she finishes eating and runs the dishes in the dishwasher
She runs upstairs quickly to changes clothes after 10 mins she leaves the house
After a 35 min drive she arrives at her destination and quickly gets out of her car trying her best not to be seen by paparazzi she goes inside and spends an hour there buying things for her babies she leaves and heads back home
(Time skip 11:30pm)
She sets the alarm going upstairs to her bedroom and gets in bed she grabs her phone FaceTiming Jermaine after two rings he answers
Jermaine: hey beautiful there's my baby
Jan: hi baby
Jermaine: how you doing
Jan: I'm okay baby are our babies asleep
Jermaine: yeah they are *he shows Matteo and Skylar sleeping in their bed*
Jan: Awwl our babies they wanted to sleep with daddy
Jermaine: yeah cause mama isn't here how did everything go baby
Jan: it went good baby was hard
Jermaine: but you did baby I'm so proud of you
Jan: thank you baby *she smiles*
Jermaine: you getting ready to go to bed
Jan: I'm going to find something to watch and get comfortable
Jermaine: me to I wish my baby was here though
Jan: me to baby I need my baby cuddles
Jermaine: daddy's got you baby when you get back
Jan: I can't wait baby I miss you
Jermaine: I miss you to baby
Jermaine and Janet talk for over two hours
Jermaine: alright love I'll let you go I know your tired
Jan: okay baby
Jermaine: I love you
Jan: I love you to baby I'll see you in the morning
Jermaine: okay baby I can't wait *he smiles*
Jan: just know mama is in need of some cuddles and snuggles
Jermaine: I got you baby *he smiles* you come home to daddy and I got you
Jan: I love you so much
Jermaine: I love you more beautiful
Jan: give our babies kisses for me
Jermaine: I will baby
They Hangup janet puts her phone on the charger
After two hours it's 1am janet finally fall asleep
