Surprise weekend

(Friday May 29th)
Jermaine POV
It's Friday morning and I'm laying in bed with my wife I always loved waking up to her being in bed with her we had a great time spending time as a family for my baby's and baby girls birthday a few weeks ago and since then we've been going non stop between work and the kids it's been a lot me and janet have barely gotten to spend time together and we were exhausted I had been traveling back and forth to Atlanta for work and janet has been working here and doing things in la all while taking care of our kids and Still being hands on with them I lean over kissing my baby's head before getting up I go downstairs to make breakfast for my family Jermaine washes his hands putting on a pot of coffee he decides to make French toast for everyone this morning he was very excited about today him and janet were going on a little getaway this weekend to have some mama and daddy time he had everything planned and Janet had no clue his parents and Katherine and joe were coming to stay at the house with the kids he had their bags packed and ready to go he couldn't wait to get to spend some time with his wife he missed her he missed their moments together he knew they would have so much fun together
After 40 mins Jermaine is done with breakfast as he hears and pitter patter of his children feet as they run in the kitchen
Skylar: daddy
Matteo: daddy
Jermaine: there's daddy's babies good morning *he hugs them both really tight*
Matteo: daddy what did you make it smells good
Jermaine: * he laughs* daddy made French toast
Skylar: yay
Jermaine: you guys go wash your hands
They run to wash their hands as janet put the twins in their high chairs
Jermaine: *he wraps his arms around her kissing her cheek* good morning my love
Jan: *she stands up turning around to him she smiles* there's my hot husband *she kisses him*
Jermaine: hmm how's my baby doing this morning
Jan: I'm good baby how are you this morning
Jermaine: I'm good baby *he kisses her*
The kids come back to the table sitting down
Skylar: thank you daddy
Matteo: thank you daddy
Jan: thank you baby
Jermaine: your welcome eat up everyone
Jermaine cuts small pieces for the twins
They watch the twins pick up a piece putting it in their mouth
Jan: is that good
The twins smile at her
They sit down to eat breakfast as a family
Jan: who wants to pray
Matteo: I'll pray mama
Jan: thank you baby *she smiles at him*
They all hold hands as Matteo prays
After 40 mins they finish eating
As they finish eating and Jermaine runs the dishes through the dishwasher as janet goes in the living room to sit with the kids
Skylar: mama can you cuddle me
Jan: of course mama can baby
She puts the twins on her lap as Skylar and Matteo cuddle janet as she puts the blanket on all of them
After 30 mins Jermaine finishes the dishes he sneaks upstairs and grabs his and Janet's bags going to take them to their car he comes back inside and goes in the living room
Skylar: daddy come cuddle us
Jermaine: daddy's coming
He sits down and gets under the covers
Jermaine: what are we watching
Matteo: Toy Story daddy
Jan: it's just starting baby
Jermaine: okay *he cuddles his babies kissing Janet's head*
After just 15 mins there is a ring of the doorbell
Jermaine: I'll get it
He gets up and goes and answers the door it's his parents and joe and Katherine as he closes the door he hears the twins start to cry
They go in the living room as they leave their bags at the door Jermaine runs upstairs and takes them to the guests rooms
Jan: mother joe pat Michael hi *she gets up hugging them looking confused* what are you guys doing here
Pat: just came to visit we missed you guys
Jermaine comes back down and goes over to janet
Jermaine: you guys sit down make yourself comfortable we're watching a movie with the kids
(2 hours later)
Janet and Jermaine have just finished gotten dressed and come downstairs
Jermaine has told Janet their going somewhere
Michael: so where you guys headed?
Jan: I don't know he won't tell me *she looks at him*
Jermaine: it's a surprise *he smiles at her*
Skylar: can we go daddy
Jermaine: no baby not this time it's me and mama this trip but mama and daddy will bring you guys something back okay
Katherine: you guys have fun and enjoy yourselves have fun
Jan: thanks mother
Michael: you guys enjoy have fun
Jan: I got bottles in the freezer for the twins and we have formula as well to
They say goodbye to their babies
Jermaine: we left money in the drawer if you guys need anything
Matteo: bye mama bye daddy *he hugs them*
Skylar: bye mama bye daddy *she hugs them*
Jan: bye babies
Jermaine: bye babies you guys are going to be good for your grandparents right
Skylar: yeah
Matteo: yeah
Janet/ Jermaine: we love you guys so much *they kisses them and kiss the twins*
Jan: *she looks at Jermaine as she looks at the twins and gets sad*
Jermaine: what's wrong love
Jan: nothing baby
Jermaine: you ready
Jan: yeah
They leave the house getting in the car as they drive off Jermaine grabs Janet's hand
Jermaine: you okay love
Jan: yeah just hard leaving the kids *she looks at him*
Jermaine: I know it is love
Jan: but I'm excited to get to spend some one on one time with my husband *she smiles at him*
Jermaine: I can't wait baby I think your going to like where we're going
Jan: well I can't wait baby *she smiles at him*
(2 hours later)
They arrive at their destination as they get off the freeway they drive for another 30 mins they pull up on a house
Jermaine: welcome to San Diego my love *he looks at her*
Jan: wait what
Jermaine: this is where we're staying for the weekend for our mama and daddy time have some fun in the sun in San Diego
