they went back to fords lab, in their original dimension. Ford went to mcgucket to prepare some gudgets and to report.

stan went upstairs to get a drink, trying to get everything together, meanwhile, the four teenagers has not said a single word to each other.

the grunkles noticed this back, that's why they just gave them space for a while .

Mabel took a deep breathe and side eyed Dipper who was beside her. "so. are we not talking about the plan?"

Dipper sighs and shakes his head not even answering his sister. he walks away heading to Ford and mcgucket.

"Dipper!" Mabel yells but her efforts were ignored by his twin brother.

Gideon stood behind mabel as he put a hand on her right shoulder as sign of comfort.

"he might have a good reason why he won't tell you" Gideon said trying to cheer her up and mostly because the guilt he has.

Mabel bite her bottom lip, "maybe, but we were always close since we were kids, for sake we're the mystery twins and right now he's leaving me in the dirt." she blinks trying to not let the formed tears fall. "i'm clueless as always."

Gideon sigh and patted her back lightly one last time before going to where Dipper was.

As for Pacifica she headed upstairs to grab a drink, the whole trip drain all her energy up.

Dipper already made a decision and that decision alone he cannot even share to anyone.

Gideon approached Dipper. "Can i talk to you for a sec.?"

Ford and mcgucket took this as a que to give the two teenagers space so they left but just a couple distance.

Dipper sighs. "I can't right now Gideon, if we need to finish this problem fast, it would have been all fine when our only problem was the switching part but now...."

Gideon clenched his jaw "look i'll just get to the point, you i always say this but don't be some kind of hero and take all of the responsibility alone."

Dipper frowned. "What are you getting at".

"You said I don't say anything to the others but isn't it unfair for your sister?" Gideon said taking a deep breathe.

"You know damn well why I can't." Dipper said as he looks away.

"You'll just end up hurting her and not just your sister but Pacifica, i'm starting to think you don't even care for the northwest gi-" Gideon was about to argue but dipper immediately butted in.

"You don't have any Idea what feelings i have for Pacifica" Dipper looked Gideon straight up "I'm even ready to sacrifice myself if it means i can protect everyone i care about, and especially my sister."

"Tch. Don't you think planning to stay back and sacrifice yourself would fix everything?" Gideon said.

"I already told you that i have made my decision a few days ago. I can't let anyone do it" Dipper silently said.

"What?"  Mabel said.

Dipper and Gideon immediately turn to look behind them and was shock to see Mabel and Pacifica standing looking at them with wide eyed gaze.

I'm posting this short chapter just to assure you guys that i'm still here hehee *nervous laugh*

College has been so busy and I don't have any motivation to write anything.

With that said i'm writing a story with my friend so i guess I'm focusing on writing that.

But don't worry i still have some ideas for this story💕
