(A continuation to chapter 33)

the sun was about to set as Dipper took Pacifica home, both of them not saying a word coming from their mouth, as dipper carrying Pacifica in his back.

They were not in the mood to talk about the recent confrontation they've had. for them It would be best to just keep it inside for now.

But after that emotions that let out a moment ago, dipper was kinda relieved to let his feelings out even to the point where Pacifica didn't accepted it, though, some part of him still hopes that, what they have would never change.

Why did she said that I don't deserve her? Dipper thought

Dipper was near to Pacifica's house, her house was not like the manor she had before, but this house was a decent size that she was probably happy to live considering her parents are not living with her. the outside was painted mint and a small stairs in her front door.

'I wonder if she feels lonely living in her own' dipper thought as they arrived to her door.

"Hey paz, we're here" dipper said as he look at her behind his back, He notice that her head was laying on his shoulder while facing the other side.

'She probably fell asleep during the walk' he thought. Noticing that she didn't respond back to his words.

"Paz, paz wake up," still no answer. Dipper sighed.

"Paz, hey, we're here."  A bit louder this time.

Pacifica groans, she blinked her eyes slowly opening them and looked around at where she was, until she her eyes landed at dipper who was looking back at her. She realizes that he was still carrying her.

Pacifica turn away. "Oh, we're here, you can put me down now"

Dipper bend down for Pacifica to go down, she twitched her eyes as her foot was still a bit injure.  As dipper felt that she was already out from his back, he stood back up and stretch his arm and back probably, because he was also sore from carrying Pacifica for hours.

Pacifica took her keys from her pocket, unlocking her door, but before she went inside she look back at dipper standing.

"Thank you for taking me home it- wait no, thank you for carrying me home, *chuckle softly* ah.. i'm sorry for worrying you dip." Pacifica said giving him a slight smile

"Yeah, it's nothing.. are you sure you'll be fine? I mean your still-" Dipper responded as he pointed out Pacificas injured foot

"I'll be fine, this will heal up eventually, i just need to wrap this" Pacifica said.

"So? See you tomorrow?" Dipper question. Hoping she can make it, i mean tomorrow is the day they go to the other side. And the day dipper will do his part of the job that he plan to do himself.

"Yeah, see you." She responds with a sure look in her face.

Dipper smiled. "I'll be going now. Bye."

Dipper started walking as Pacifica just looked at him walking away from her. When she was about to go inside dipper called her again.
