The remaining people in the lab tried not to speak, both too tired from earlier arguments. Pacifica placed her hand on her forearm as she looked down trying to avoid what surrounded her at that moment, specifically the brunette that broke her trust.

dipper on the other hand felt as if he was the worst thing that ever happened on this planet. he never intended to hurt anyone. Right now, he can't think straight, his head hurts. he wants to run away, but where? Gravity Falls is the only place where he and his sister can escape what was happening back home and now, he has nowhere to go.

he failed.

"You have that thinking dork face again," Pacifica said ending the silence as she frowned while looking straight back at him.

Dipper was confused for a bit. he opened his mouth to say something but closed it again afraid to mess things up between them.

"And now you're looking like a hungry fish." Pacifica said in a snarky tone.

dipper bit his bottom lip before speaking, he clears his throat. "I thought you're angry at me."

Pacifica crossed her arms. "I am."

"Oh. then why are you speaking to me?" Dipper questioned unsurely.

"Because if you know me, I have strong opinions and I speak it when I have to and if needed to, you're like a coward right now, you know that." she frankly talks to him.

dipper looked down in shame. "Yeah."

Pacifica sighs. someone has to say it to him somehow, everyone was just in their own anger earlier to really talk straight. now that things are a bit cooled down maybe they could clear somethings. she's just hoping Gideon could get through Mabel she's quite stubborn like dipper.

Dipper let out a heavy sigh as he courage up to walk in front of Pacifica to face her. So, he could say it in her face this time. Again more clearer.

as he was in front of her, Pacifica took a step back, but he held her left arm that made her still. they look at each other eyes intensely.

"Paz. if this is the only way to make things normal again, for things to reset. to stop this, I'm still going to do this if it means this phenomenon won't be in the way, messing the way how I think and feel about you." Dipper said lowly on for the two of them could hear.

Pacifica heart was beating faster, it was so loud in her ears that she's afraid he could hear it too. maybe she was also wrong, maybe she was also a coward always scared on taking the risk.

"Maybe it wouldn't mess with yours too." dipper said.

Pacifica glanced down as she slowly said. "And... what, do... you think... you know, about.. me." she shyly says without looking back at him, she was really not the northwest her parents raised her to be at this moment.

Dipper eyes went wide for a bit as he witness a shy Pacifica, never thought that he would see this side of her again. Honestly she is quite cute when she get all shy, her demeanor changes.

softly he says. "This time around I don't hate to admit it, you're smart, creative, confident. you're more than just a pretty face and that you're slowly showing the real you and I could see it."

She's finally looking back at him, as she lightly laughs. "re-using and re-phrasing words now dip? fine. Your head's not that big." the two of them chuckles as they remember the same thing they said back when they were twelve.

It really was when dipper saw something in her again. The first being back at the northwest manor and the second time when they rescued mabel. It was also the second time she hugs him.
