Marshal's POV

I was utterly exhausted. Alder had canceled on me last minute and I had more time to myself for once. I had trained all day, trying to get that vampire out of my head. It had worked and now it was time for me to get to bed.

Mienshao was already curled up on my bed as I walked in. He mewled and I sat next to him.

"Hey buddy... Ready for bed?"

Mienshao mewled and curled up into a ball. I smiled and got under the covers. I looked out my window and sighed.

Let's hope no vampires come get me... I thought.

I pulled the covers up over my shoulders and fell asleep.

Later that night

I awoke to the sounds of something scratching at my window. I sat up slowly, my heart pounding uncomfortably in my chest.

"What the hell is that...?" I whispered.

I grabbed the bat I kept by my bedside and slowly went to my window. I had blinds covering them so I couldn't see what was there until I moved them. I felt my heart race more as I reached up to move the blinds. I pulled the string that rolled them up and gasped. Standing there, or floating there I guess, was the vampire I had met the previous night. He smiled weakly.

"Heh... Hi..." He said weakly.

I stared at him then I hissed.

"Dude, fuck off!" I snapped, getting ready to close the blinds.

A flash of lightning startled me and Grimsley jumped. He looked up at the sky then looked at me.

"Can I please come in? I don't fancy getting wet." He said.

I growled at him and blocked his way in.

"Fuck no! Do you think I'm stupid?! I know you'll just bite my neck!" I snapped.

Grimsley sighed.

"Look sweetheart, I told you last night that I don't drink human blood. I'm not a full vampire, and I don't intend on becoming one." He said sounding rather strained.

I blinked and sighed. I had sharp objects in my house so if he tried anything I'd just stab him. I groaned and took a step to the side.

"Fine..." I growled.

The vampire smiled weakly and climbed into my room through the window. I heard a mew and a Liepard hoped in as well. Mienshao lifted his head and mewled. Grimsley stood up and smiled at me. My blood ran cold as I saw his fangs.

"Thank you very much..." He said happily.

I growled and covered my neck slightly, feeling slightly uncomfortable.

"Yeah, well get near me and you're dead." I snapped.

He rolled his eyes and chuckled.

"You're worse than a woman. I told you numerous times that I won't drink your blood. You can trust me, can't you?"

I saw a spark of innocence in his eyes and I clenched my fists. He was acting as if he were seducing a woman and I didn't like that at all. I groaned and shook my head.

"Just.. You're sleeping downstairs and that's that." I hissed.

He blinked and looked around.

"Do you have any raw meat?" He asked calmly.

I blinked in confusion then nodded slowly.

"I... I think so..."

Grimsley smiled happily and walked downstairs with Liepard following after him. I shifted then followed him slowly. I didn't want to know what he was going to be doing downstairs.

He walked into the kitchen and opened my fridge. He took out a pack of meat and glanced at me.

"May I?" He asked politely.

I nodded and he tore into the package. His eyes flashed red as he began devouring the meat. I took a slight step back, surprised at how animalistic he became. He licked his lips then looked at me.

"Please excuse my lack of manners. I haven't had any nutrition lately so I just couldn't control myself! You don't mind though right?"

I just stared at him. He wiped his mouth off then looked at me.

"Where shall I sleep?" He asked.

I blinked then glanced at my living room.

"Is the couch ok...?"

"That's fine with me, thank you."

I nodded weakly then walked upstairs. I closed the door and locked it. Mienshao mewed at me. I looked at him and sighed.

"Sorry buddy... I don't trust him at all..."

I got back into bed and stared at my door, my heart racing.

Oh please stay down there and please don't drink my blood as I sleep... I don't think I can handle having a vampire biting my neck... I thought miserably.
