Thank you for 1.2k+ reads and 45+ votes! Also, a special thanks to LuluFxXx , BeautifulMoon208 , and chlobows2009 for voting! Im sorry for this chapter, it's honestly not the best. Like, at all, and I don't have time to add anything right now so I'm just leaving it as is. Here's this week's chapter :)

Even if we're battling the questions separately, it still feels like we're all together in this. The questions are beasts, growing stronger with each level, but we are too. A Class might have kept up with their classes, but there's some things you can only learn in E Class. With the way these exams are though, I need to hurry.

After the two days of testing and the wager hovering over us, it's finally over. We go to the E Class building on the third day, Korosensei standing at the front as he straightens up several folders, each with the results of different subjects.

"Well, class, your scores in all subjects have arrived." Korosensei says. We are all frozen in a tense silence, Fuwa prepared with a tally board to see who would win. Us, or A Class. "Here goes." Korosensei says, unraveling the string holding the first folder shut. "Starting with English: First in the E Class, and first in the whole year level: Rio Nakamura!" Korosensei exclaims. My jaw drops, much like the majority of my classmates. Nakamura leans back in her chair with a smirk, fanning herself with a folder.

"How's that?" She says cockily. That's incredible! Nakamura gets up and walks up to Korosensei.

"Perfect." He congratulates. "Though your motivation did have a touch of whimsy that worried me." Korosensei says, handing her a paper. She accepts it, smiling.

"Well, there's ten billion yen on the line, you know?" She says. "Don't forget about that tentacle now, Korosensei." She reminds him with a wink.

"I won't." He says, his face flashing red with a circle. Nakamura heads back to her desk. Then Korosensei passes out the rest of our scores. Oh, 88 out of 100! That's not bad. "Nagisa, you put up a good fight, but you haven't kicked your habit of making spelling mistakes when it really counts. Still, top marks in a subject means that's one tentacle down." Korosensei says, planting a flag on one of his tentacles. "Let's wait until I've read all the scores before we celebrate, though."

"Next up is Japanese: First in the E Class... Yukiko Kanzaki!" Korosensei says and we all look at her. " However... First in the year level goes to Gakushū Asano of the A Class! Kanzaki, you improved tremendously. And that's all that matters." Korosensei says, handing her her paper.

"Asano can really nab those points." Maehara sighs worriedly.

"He's crazy tough." Mimura agrees. "Nakamura only beat him in English by a single point."

"He isn't the top of the nation for nothing." Isogai says. "No weaknesses—not in any subject."

"They're collectively known as the Big Five... but it really comes down to Asano." Mimura says as the rest of us receive our papers. "You've got to take him down, or you'll never get to the top." 79 out of 100. I'll need to work more on Japanese.

"Hey, well at least we still have a few more subjects, right?" I say.

"Right you are, (Y/n). Let's move on. In social studies, first in the E Class goes to Yuma Isogai." Korosensei reports. That's expected. He's amazing in that area. We all wait for the next bit of news, Isogai the most nervous out of us all. "And as for first in the year level... Congratulations! You beat out Asano to take the top spot!"

"Yes!" Isogai cheers, springing out of his seat while we applaud him.

"An excellent job, especially considering all the fiendish questions you had to deal with." Korosensei says, returning the rest of our social studies tests. 71 out of 100... Scratch working on Japanese.
