"Now, Korosensei... become the foundation on which I will lay my philosophy." Principal Asano says. Dripping with slime, Korosensei takes a moment before reaching out for the next textbook. It's over in less than a second. The smile disappears from the Principal's face.
"Okay. Opened, solved, and closed." Korosensei says with his usual vigor. "I more or less remember which questions are on which page in this particular series of workbooks. Math was the only challenge. I'd lent that one out to a student for so long that I'd forgotten."
"Oh!" Yada hums, all of us glancing at her. She looks kinda guilty. It must've been her. It's not her fault, though. There's no way any of us could have anticipated this.
"You just happened to have memorized the exact books I decided to bring?" Principal Asano says in disbelief, his eyes wider than usual as he stares at the wall.
"Heavens, no!" Korosensei laughs as the Principal's eyes flick back up to him. "I've memorized all of Japan's workbooks. 'No moving out of the blast radius until you've solved the problem'? A rule like that is no trouble for a passionate educator. Here I thought you understood me, but it seems your students' defeat has unnerved you." Korosensei says, effortlessly flipping through the last two books, sticky notes with the answers stuck on the covers.
"You've dug your own grave with this simplistic assassination." Korosensei says before looking down at the last desk. "One book left. It's your turn." The textbook looms imposingly in front of the man. "How does it feel, having your own death staring you in the face? That grand kaleidoscope glimpsed in one's final moments... What could be flashing through that perfect mind of yours?"
Principal Asano stands in silence for several long seconds. Long enough for Korosensei's oozing to subside. Finally, Korosensei decides to speak.
"Well, Principal Asano? Will you open the final book?" He presses. "No matter how superhuman you may be, opening a grenade-filled workbook will not end well."
"Hey, this was your challenge." Yoshida pipes up. "If you don't wanna die, just throw in the towel gracefully!" Principal Asano's eyes sharpen as he sends an icy glare at the dark-haired boy. "Yikes!" He exclaims, hiding behind Kataoka. She rolls her eyes at him and shoves him away.
"And besides, we don't even care if you fire Korosensei!" She says boldly.
"It'll be sad to leave this place behind, but we'll go where Korosensei goes." Kanzaki adds. Korosensei begins crying, moping up his tears with a tissue. Principal Asano merely averts his gaze.
"Even if it means leaving home or holing up in some mountain, we'll keep our assassination classroom going till March." Isogai concludes. The principal scans over us before focusing back on Korosensei, the two standing across from each other around the remaining desk.
"Korosensei," He starts, the yellow blob quirking his head. "under my educational philosophy, you could very well destroy the Earth and it wouldn't matter." Principal Asano says with a warped smile, flipping the book open, giving us nearly no time to react as it detonates the explosive immediately. We all duck back down, Maehara's grip on my hand tightening as he holds me against him. A loud boom leaves my ears ringing before I hear the faint sound of familiar laughter.
"Have you forgotten my ability to molt?" Korosensei asks as we all gradually stand back up. Plumes of dust and smoke leave a haze in the room, and the five desks that had previously been set up in a semicircle had been thrown back and broken. Several shards of wood cover the floor. Principal Asano sits in the middle of it all, a thin membrane draped over him.
