Heyyyy. Well, thank you for 9.6k+ reads! Also a special thanks to Iliketoread343 for voting! Some of you may have noticed that this update is a day late. I posted an announcement for it, but you probably haven't seen it if you're not following me. I procrastinated on this chapter so much and I had no idea what to put in it (also, thank you to my sister for giving me ideas). I didn't even start writing it until yesterday when I was supposed to post it. I'm very sorry, but I promise I will definitely be finishing this fic within the next few weeks. I think there's only about 5ish chapters left? Anyways, I hope you enjoy :)

“Merry Christmas!” Korosensei says, dressed as Santa as he holds up a glass of ‘champagne’ in one tentacle and a large turkey leg in the other.

“Merry Christmas!” We respond, all of us dressed in several variations of our own Santa costumes, blowing our party poppers.

“What a marvelous Christmas Eve!” Korosensei cheers. “Yes, February means Christmas, all right!” Then, Korosensei zooms around the room, changing the whole atmosphere. “Happy New Year! Yes, a new year is upon us!” He says, this time wearing a traditional kimono. I look down at my own kimono, an eye catching (f/c) floral pattern on it. All of the guys have the same outfit, but the rest of the girls and I present a rainbow of different colors and designs. “Tackle your studies and your assassination alike with renewed enthusiasm!”

“You look nice, (n/n).” Maehara whispers in my ear. I smile, slightly flustered from his compliment.

“Thank you... And you, too, by the way.” I reply.

“Now, then...” Korosensei says, lying on the ground, a blanket covering him as he watches a small TV he had pulled out of nowhere. “Time to laze the day away.” We watch him in confusion.

“What is he doing?” I ask.

“How should I know?” Maehara says, shrugging.

“Where’s he going with all this?” Nagisa questions as we all sweat drop.

“So you’re trying to take all the fun year-end events you missed out on and cram them into February?” Fuwa deduces.

“Ah! Exactly right!” Korosensei says.

“Well, that makes a lot more sense.” I say to myself.

“Our one and only winter break together, and not a single one of you came to visit!” Korosensei complains. “And you were so earnestly worried and trying so hard on my behalf that it didn’t feel right for me to invite you over.” He cries.

“It was a dumb thing to fret about when we were all so bummed out.” Yoshida comments.

“Well, with all that behind you, now’s the perfect time!” Korosensei declares. “We’ll take back the winter break we lost—all at once!”

After school, Maehara and I walk with our friends, Korosensei’s parting words for the day still echoing in our minds. ‘Don’t forget to think about which high school you want to apply for!’
