"Fifteen—no, sixteen of them." The man murmurs. "Judging by their breathing, they're young, mostly in their mid-teens. Who'da thunk it? Everyone who's still up and about made it here." Then the man fires up a shot, the sound of something shattering follows and I flinch. "Just So you know, this hall is completely soundproof. I'll fill you all with lead before anyone comes to save you." He says, twirling his gun on one of his fingers. "You know that none of you have the guts to take a life. Now come on out like good little children and bow before the boss—"
Another shot fires, but this time it's not from him. That sounded like it came from where Hayami is, or at least where I saw her last. Nothing happened though. The man stops twirling his gun, his unfocused eyes narrowing. Now he knows we have guns. He pulls a remote from his pockets and presses a button. The stage lights flick on, brightly illuminating him from the back.
"Looks like this might actually be a job I can sink my teeth into!" The man laughs. I squint, making even more of an effort to stay concealed behind one of the seats. I can't see anything! "Feelin' fine again today, with my tasty, tasty gun!" He says, shooting in between Hayami's seat and the one next to her. "I never forget the position of any enemy once they've fired. I used to be in the military, you see. My time there gave me a knack for pinpointing my enemies' locations, and having to identify guns with my tongue gave me a real taste for weaponry." The man explains, licking the barrel of his gun. I'm pretty sure that's not in a normal persons' skillset, even in the military. "Now, then... There should be one more stolen gun out there."
"Hayami! Remain standing by!" Korosensei orders. Huh? "You were wise not to fire just now, Chiba! The enemy still doesn't know where you are! I'll keep an eye on him and tell you when, so hang tight until it's go time!" Korosensei says before he lets out a laugh. The man looks around in confusion, trying to locate the voice before his gaze lands on a seat directly in front of him. Korosensei must be there.
"Hey! Quit starin' at me from the front row!" He man says, firing several bullets at Korosensei, his shield deflecting them with ease. Korosensei just laughs even more.
"An expert gunman versus junior-high students? I think it's fair for them to have a slight handicap." Korosensei reasons. "Okay, Kimura, run five seats left! Terasaka and Yoshida, move three seats to either side!" Korosensei starts issuing orders, which, of course, we follow. "We've formed a blind spot! Kayano, use this chance to move two rows forward! Karma and Fuwa, move five seats right! Isogai! Five seats left! (Y/n), one row forward and three seats left!" The man frantically looks around trying to track all of us. A smirk begins to form on the man's face.
"Student number 12!" Korosensei says, starting a new round of confusion. "Move right and continue preparations! Numbers 4, 6, and 23 film the target from between the seats! Use Ritsu to tell Chiba what's happening onstage!" Korosensei says and Kataoka, Okano, and I pull out our phones and start recording. "Ponytail, move to the front-left! Motorcycle Fan, you too! Two seats to the front-left! The person who visited Takebayashi's favorite maids cafe out of curiosity and was alarmed to find he liked it, make a big racket to confuse the enemy!"
"Shaddup!" Terasaka screeches, banging on the seats in front of him. "How the hell did you know that?!" The man continues to look around frantically, the only position he's completely sure of being Hayami's.
