I read part of True Beauty a while ago, but I forgot about it and then I saw a clip from the show and decided to watch it, and then I decided to reread/finish reading it, as well. Definitely on team Suho for Jugyeong, but Seojun is my favorite character. Anyways, here's today's update :)

"Yesterday's drama festival sure was fun, huh?" Nagisa says as we all lounge about in the classroom. Sugino hunches over at his desk, his forehead resting right on top as he tries to hide his face.

"Sugino got really into his performance." Sugaya says.

"Who would've thought he could put on such an evil face?" Hazama chuckles.

"Maybe he has a secret calling as an actor." I say to Maehara, the blond and I observing the conversation. Truth be told, it doesn't feel much different to be dating him. Sure, there's a label on it now, and we kiss sometimes, but now looking back it seems like we were almost a couple from the beginning. We would still hold hands and he would still be flirty, and we did kiss that one time before we even made it official. I guess the one major difference is that he shows basically no interest in other girls anymore, but he started doing that a bit before. We have been pretty busy lately though, with the exams and then having to put on he play right afterwards.

"Hey, Hiroto?" I say, catching his attention.

"Yeah?" He says, eyes fixed on me.

"I know we just had that conversation yesterday about spending more time together, but do you ever feel like not much has changed between us?" I ask uncertainty.

"No. Well, maybe a little, but isn't that kinda a good thing? We both cared about each other before, even if it was just as friends, right? That's something I'd like to stay the same." He says.

"You want us to still care about each other as friends?" I ask skeptically.

"No! Wait, no, yes! Ah... I want us to care for each other as friends and more." He says, a bit flustered. "You're the only one that makes me feel this way. And act so uncool. I never had this problem before you."

"Oh, I know. I was there through every relationship. I know just how suave you can be." I point out while he groans, slumping over his desk, similarly to how Sugino was moments before. I notice Kayano signaling for Nagisa to join her outside of the classroom. Wasn't she tidying up in the storage shed? She must need some help. Ooh, or maybe she's finally going to confess!

"Yeah, but they weren't you..." He says, drawing my attention back to him.

"Y'know, you've said something like that before, haven't you?" I say, the phrase sounding familiar.

"Probably. But that's because it's true. Anyways, we haven't had much of an opportunity to do couple-y things yet. How about we go on a date after school today?" He suggests. I'm taken aback by the abruptness of his proposition.

"That's really sudden..." I mumble, not knowing what else to say. Maehara straightens back up.

"We don't have to do it today, but if you're up for it then why not? Or if you don't feel like going out we could just go to one of our houses and watch movies or something." He adds.

"Okay... Maybe we could go get some snacks and then do the movie thing. I'd like to not wear my school uniform if we're going out somewhere." I say. Maehara nods in agreement before he reaches a hand out, his fingers brushing against my hair.

"Sorry. You had a piece of fuzz stuck in it." He says, showing me the white fluff. "So-" a loud crash cuts him off. Did Principal Asano change his mind?! We all exchange looks before bolting outside as smaller crashes follow. Wait, what about Nagisa and Kayano?
