Thank you for 4K+ reads and 165+ votes! Also, a special thanks to Simp16616 and Royal_Wisteria for voting and sakura_baby_doll for commenting! Sorry, I'm going to vent a little bit. Again. So, I'm in this group chat with three of my friends. I'd like to start by making it clear that I really don't care if the three of them hang out without me. But, the problem is that recently they've been making plans to hang out on the group chat that I'm also in, but when they start the conversation through text it's like they already all know half the details already. I'm doing online school this year and I have a job now and they all see each other at school almost every day, so it makes sense that their schedules match up more, but I can't help but feel left out when they do it right in front of me (or the online equivalent). I don't think they're intending to be rude, and I'm honestly not even sure if they realize it's the group chat with me in it, but I don't like how it makes me feel. I don't want to bring it up and cause drama, though. Also, I wrote this chapter probably over a month or two ago now, so it has nothing to do with the situation above as that has only been happening the past couple of weeks. I'd actually been planning this for a while. Anyways, I've finally been building the motivation to write more again! And I've also come up with yet another idea for a story... Well, here's today's chapter :)
After the slightly awkward exchange with Maehara, he had insisted on walking me home. After saying our goodbyes he headed home and I had to eat dinner before enjoying time to myself. Normally I would have homework, but there wasn't any distractions during class so I was able to avoid it for the day. I decide to watch a few episodes of (insert anime) before bed. I'll ask Fuwa or one of the others about the mission tomorrow.
Two episodes in, my phone buzzes. It is quickly followed by several more. I pick it up to see a still ongoing stream of messages from my classmates that say something along the lines of 'I'll be there.' Be where though? I scroll up through the messages in the group chat to find the starting message.
Ritsu
Hi everyone! We are in need of backup. Meet us at (address).
We found Korosensei's impersonator and it was a trap set up by Itona and Shiro but Itona has gone wild and we need to help him. Please get here ASAP!
Wait, what?! I type out a quick message before scrambling to my closet and grabbing my coat before rushing to the door.
"What's got you in such a hurry?" My dad asks skeptically.
"I, uh, left my homework with Hiroto so I have to go pick it up. We worked on it together during lunch and it must have gotten mixed up with his." I say as I slip on my shoes.
"Hmm... Okay. But be back soon. You still have school tomorrow." He says.
"Yep!" I say before bolting our the door and racing for the meetup spot. By the time I get there most of the class had already arrived, we were just waiting on Takebayashi, Yoshida, Muramatsu, Kurahashi, and Okuda. Kurahashi and Takebayashi show up shortly after me, running towards us with Okuda following right behind. Yoshida and Muramatsu take a minute or so longer, but they turn up soon enough.
"Okay everyone, so things have changed slightly since we had Ritsu send the message. We tracked down Itona but he was captured by Shiro and we have to save him." Fuwa declares.
"What exactly is happening with Itona? Ritsu says he's 'gone wild'." I say.
"Somethin' about the tentacles messin' with his brain. Whatever, we need to get goin'." Terasaka says lazily.
"Ritsu?" Nagisa says, pulling out his phone.
"Yep! Korosensei's already there. I've tracked them down to these coordinates!" She says with a smile, directing us to the scene. When we get there, Korosensei is dodging countless anti-sensei BBs being shot by Shiro's lackeys, the white clad people perched in trees. Anti-sensei lights like the one Shiro used during Itona and Korosensei's first battle are balanced up in trees with the shooters. Itona lies sprawled out on the ground in between the back of a truck and our teacher, a net wrapped around him.
