It has been minutes since Saesha went inside the water and there were no signs of her coming up. Swetha looks around for Ravee frantically as he has disappeared before this chaos to do something.

praba and Parvathi exchange glances nervously and Swetha walks over to them, horrified.

"Why isnt she coming up? You said she knows how to swim" Swetha nervously looks at Parvathi as her brain starts to play worst scenarios

"She knows. Maybe she is pulling a prank on us?" Parvathi frets, not knowing what to do.

"Why do you all look so panicked?" Ravee appears out of nowhere and looks at all three of them suspiciously.

"Ravee... I threw Saesha in the pool... It has been a few minutes and she hasn't come up-" Praba speaks.

"You did WHAT?" Ravee lunges forward to grab praba but decides against fighting him and dives headfirst into the pool.

Parvathi holds back her tears as she looks at the chaos she has created. Sensing her silence, Praba pulls her to him, gently stroking her wet hair. Meanwhile Swetha bites her nails as she waits for Ravee to show up with Saesha, anxiously.

Ravee's head raises and everyone holds their breath as they see him leaving the water, an unconscious Saesha in his arms. He places her on the edge of the pool and they all rush towards her side in panic.

"Someone call Akshay" Ravee yells, looking at Saesha. Everyone searches for their phone only to be met with the realization they have all left their phones at the car.

"Goddammit" Ravee huffs out and searches around for Akshay and notices Saesha's phone lying on the surface lifelessly. The phone must have fell from her hands when they were throwing Saesha into the pool, as the phone was met with multiple scratches.

Parvathi sobs at the sight of unconscious Saesha and she taps her cheeks, letting out multiple apologies in the process.

"I'll go look for Akshay" Praba runs to the other end of the pool. Meanwhile, Ravee finds himself quickly getting access to her phone as there was no security pin on her mobile. He dials Akshay's number and notices she doesn't have his number as the name doesn't appear when he dials.

'strange' he thinks to himself and shakes his head, not wanting to get distracted by any irrelevant doubts.

"But Maama isn't a doctor anymore right? What will he do?" Swetha nervously bites her nails and looks around for Akshay.

"Akshay? Where are you?-" Ravee doesn't even finish his sentence when Akshay appears sprinting towards Saesha along with praba.

"Fuck" Akshay says, right before kneeling beside her small and cold form, placing two fingers at the side of her neck to search for a pulse. Any pulse.

He found none.

His panic increased. He paused and took a deep breath. Right now he couldnt afford to panic. He was a doctor, not her friend. He had to act smartly.

He provided her oxygen while doing systematic chest compressions-one , two, three. He wasn't aware of anything happening around him. It didn't matter. All that mattered right now was saving his patient.

The only thing he noticed was when suddenly a gasp left her lips and she started coughing out water, her eyes still tightly shut. Ravee stopped lecturing them as they all turned to gaze at her, some of the worry getting replaced with relief as she stirred and coughed out water, her blue tinted lips parting to let it out.

Akshay performed a couple more compressions to help her get out most of the water in her passageway.

Her chest started rising and falling in a systematic rhythm after she was done coughing up all the water. He could feel a regular pulse in her wrist again and a relieved sigh tumbled out of his lips.

"Sai, I'm so so-" Parvathi kneels beside her friend and sobs.

"fucking sorry?" Akshay bites out, losing his cool.

"I'm really-" Praba starts only to be cut off by Akshay again.

"Save your fucking apologies to yourself. One more time I see anyone pulling a prank on her, one more fucking time, you'll find out just how easily I can take a man's life as I can save one." The threat was thrown at praba and he hangs his head low. Saesha stays silent and stares straight ahead, not able to process what just happened.

Ravee rakes his hand through his wet hair and wonders how on earth was their friendship at stake. Akshay looks down at Saesha and releases a sigh he didn't know he was holding.

"Can you talk?" he asks and she nods her head, very well aware of everyone's eyes on her, the new attention makes her want to throw up. As if Akshay could sense what was wrong with Saesha, he gently picks her up in his arms and walks away from his friends.

If Saesha was in her senses, she would have thrown a tantrum for carrying her. But all she could care about now was to get away. Get away from the water. Sensing her silencing, Akshay doesn't dare ask why she has let herself drown when she knows how to swim.

He carries her in his arms to their car, which is a ten minutes walk.

"Akshay, you don't have to do this. I can walk. Please put me down" Her voice comes out softly.

"I got you" He says and sees her burying her face in his chest. Once they reach the car, he unlocks the car and gently places her on the front seat and leaves her and runs to the trunk, and pulls out his towel. Taking his towel in his hands, he closes the trunk and walks back to Saesha and offers her the towel. Without any questions, she takes it from his hand and tries to dry herself. Looking at her discomfort, he leans inside her seat and turns on the heater core, warming up the car and closing the door slowly. He walks to the back of his car and sighs at his friend's behavior.

Meanwhile Saesha shivers at her cold shirt sticking to her body. She wraps the towel around her body and rubs her hands, trying to warm her hands. When she could feel warm air hitting her chill skin, she splays her hands in front of the warm air. After a few minutes of warming herself, Akshay knocks at her window and she quickly opens it.

"I have my hoodie, in case you want to wear-"

"Yes please"

"Here" Akshay slowly hands her his hoodie and walks back to the backside of the car. She quickly slips into his cloth and finds herself dangerously drowning in his usual; fresh, clean scent of aromatic woodsy notes. She could feel the warmth spreading throughout her body, as the familiar smell hits her.
