Akshay knows he has to take her mind off whatever happened a few minutes ago. He knows he has to get her to talk.
"Do you want to watch a movie?" He asks, and she finds herself nodding slowly.
"Do you maybe wanna leave the bedroom and watch a movie in the hallway? It will help you clear your mind when you're out of this environment. What do you say?" he asks softly, not wanting to alarm her any further. She simply nods slowly in response.
"But before that, I'm gonna get you some water real quick. Okay?" she just looks up at him, scared of what might happen if he leaves her side.
"Saesha, you're safe with me. I don't know who hurt you, but I promise I'd never let anything happen to you ever again" he says
Fake promises were what she hated the most. She knows he is saying that to make her feel better. They are going to part ways in a few days and she is well aware of him knowing that too.
"Where did you go?" he asks when her expression turns unreadable. She opens and closes her mouth, not knowing what to say.
"It's okay. I'll go get the water okay? I'll be quick" he says and waits for her answer. When she nods, he gives her a small smile, before hurrying off to the kitchen. Taking a water bottle out of the refrigerator, he walks back to the room and hands her the water.
After taking a gulp, she leans against the headboard and stares off into a distance.
"Do you want to sleep?" he asks when he notices her exhausted figure.
"No" she finally manages to utter a word, as she lifts her head off the headboard. He slowly kneels in front of her while she looks at him confused.
"I'm gonna remove your scrunchie from your hair. Is that okay?" he asks tentatively.
"Yes" she responds. Akshay slowly pulls off the scrunchie, letting her hair free. Wearing the scrunchie on his wrist, he tucks the strands of hair behind her ears.
"You feel any better?" she nods again in response.

Akshay and Saesha have comfortably settled onto the couch. Draping the duvet around her, she watches Akshay rummaging through piles of movie collections. He stops short and glances at her.
"What do you wanna watch?" he asks, once opens the genre of romance movies. She looks up at the big screen placed on the wall mount. Furrowing her brows, she scans the entire movie playlist to recognize all of the movies are cheesy romance movies.
"Where are the other genres?"
"You don't like romance?" She glances at him before concentrating on the giant screen.
