After getting everything set up, Belly took a good look around to check if they missed anything, Lucas went inside the bus first, followed by Max then Dustin then Steve and lastly Belly, who closed the door carefully

Once inside Lucas took out his binoculars and climbed up to the roof of the bus, where they had kept some tires to hide behind, he looked around with his binoculars while the rest waited inside the vehicle

Belly sat down beside Steve as she played with her lighter and Max looked at Belly then turned her gaze towards the guy

"So you've fought one of these things before?" Max asked from where she was seated making Steve look at her and nod "And you're sure it wasn't a bear?" She asked to be sure

"Shit don't be an idiot okay? It wasn't a bear" Dustin snapped at her, Belly looked at the guy, confused before looking at Steve who was equally as confused "Why are you even here, if you don't believe us? Just go home" Belly sighed

"Your tips work huh?" She whispered to Steve who let out a small chuckle

"They always do" Steve whispered back

"Geez, someone's cranky, past your bedtime?" Max asked before getting up and climbing up the ladder Belly let out a chuckle

"Damn" she whispered to herself before going up as well "You must be tired" She said to Lucas extending her hand who gave her the binoculars before going inside she looked around with the device before looking at Max

"Hey" she said

"Hi" Belly replied sitting up straight across the girl

"You've been ignoring me" Max mentioned Belly nodded

"I'll explain later" she said softly "Don't you miss California?" she asked the girl, she stayed silent "This place, isn't it pretty lame compared to California?"

"No no, it's not that, it's just my dad's still there" she said Belly gave her a confused look "It's this legal term called divorce, when a married couple is not in love anymore-"

"I know what that is c'mon" Belly chuckled making the girl let out a small laugh

"My mom, my step dad wanted a fresh start away from him, as if, as if he was the problem which is total bull, and things are just worse now, my stepbrother's always been a dick, but now he's just, angry, all the time, and he can't take it out on my mom so..." Max's eyes fill with tears

"He takes it out on you?" Belly asked, concern and anger in her voice

"I don't even know why I am telling you this, it's just, I know i can be a jerk like him sometimes, and i do not wanna be like him, ever, I guess I am angry too, and I am sorry" Max explained"Jesus what's wrong with me" she wiped away a tear from her eye, Belly reached out and put her hand on top of Max's

"You are nothing like him alright? You're cool and smart and you're totally tubular" Belly repeated the guy's word from the Halloween night making Max chuckle "I like talking to you Max"

"I like talking to you too" Max held Belly's hand that was resting on top of hers when suddenly they heard growling, Belly's let go of Max's hand

"Go down" she told Max sounding very serious as Max followed

"What's going on Belly?" She heard Dustin's voice

"10 o'clock!" she yelled back and a couple minutes passed, it wasn't taking the bait Belly just looked around

"You're sure that's not a dog?" Max down from where she was standing right beside the ladder in the bus

"What?" Belly asked before looking into the direction of creature again when she saw Steve going out with his bat "What the hell are you doing Steve" She mumbled as she kept her eyes near to where Steve was, to inform him of any danger that was in his way

Suddenly she saw something from the corner of her eye, she diverted her gaze and saw another creature then another at another direction

"Steve watch out!" she yelled at the guy

"A little busy here!" Steve shouted back Belly sighed in frustration

"3 o'clock, Steve!" she shouted again he looked into the direction, Belly walked down towards the door of the bus where Dustin was telling him to abort, Steve ran towards it, hitting one of creatures as he successfully made it inside the bus before it, they closed the door as soon as they could

"They can't get in! They can't get in!" Lucas yelled, by this time they all were shouting and yelling things, Steve and Belly tried to hold the door the best they could, but one part of a creature got inside

Dustin, Max and Lucas ran to the other side, Dustin trying to reach the other guys through his device, Belly tried to keep the creature away with a bat she found sitting in Steve's car's trunk, it was a normal bat, Steve turned towards the others, to make sure they were okay, but the second he looked away, the creature grabbed Belly's hand and stabbed her in the stomach, she fell backwards, when they all heard one of the creatures on the roof, going back towards the three

"Go!" she pushed Steve towards them as he tried to protect the three with his bat, the creature, mysteriously turned his head and went away, both Steve and Max ran towards Belly who was laying down, with blood on her clothes

"Are you okay? C'mon get up" Steve said helping her up Belly didn't take his help and stood up on her own, with great effort and a lot of groans

"Well, what can I say? I am a badass" she said before losing balance and falling down to which, Max quickly grabbed her before hitting the ground

They sat her on one of the seat, her breathing heavily, despite still having a smile on her face, the three applied pressure to her wound to control the blood loss, to which she groaned, Steve went outside to check the surroundings

"Let me just, oh god!" she groaned "I'll just take a moment" she tried closing her eyes but Max stopped her

"No, no no no no, Belly don't close your eyes, stay with me, stay with me" Max panicked Belly threw her head back before putting her palm on the girls cheek groaning again

"Always" and those were the last words she said before closing her eyes as all of them desperately tries to wake her up
