The next day started out normal, Belly woke up did her morning routine, and went down before coming back for her signature black jacket

She walked down and saw her dad in the kitchen, cooking, despite him being busy all the time, he was a great cook and Belly missed it everytime he went on trips

"Morning dad" she smiled at him, as she took a pancake

"Morning Belly" he smiled at her handing her the syrup

"Oh what do we have here?" Melissa walked towards them, as the father daughter duo gave each other look "Pancakes, god they are my favourite" she spoke before digging in

Belly was just eating her breakfast and trying not to give the woman any attention but it was, to no avail when she kept trying to strike up a conversation

"So, are you headed somewhere today?" she asked

"Don't you understand? God I don't wanna talk to you" she spoke before sliding her dishes into the sink and kissing Martin on his cheek as she made her way out of the kitchen

"Hey, Belly stop" she heard her dad as she turned around

"Yeah?" she asked as he handed her a walkman

"I promised?" he shrugged as she gave him a big tight hug both of them smiling into it, they didn't notice a third person's eyes on them, as she smiled as well, seeing the father and daughter

Leaving the house and walking towards her bike, she could just hope it doesn't go too bad for Martin dealing with Melissa

She got her bike and rode to the place she'd find the guy she needed the most right now, to the Starcourt mall, specifically the scoops ahoy ice cream parlour, she walked in seeing a girl as she gave her a smile

"Where's Steve?" she asked the girl before she led her to the backroom where Steve and Dustin were seated

"Oh hi Belly" Steve spoke

"Hi, I need to talk, privately" she said to Steve signalling towards the Dustin, he led her out into the hallway

"What's the matter? Max?" He asked

"Shh! And yeah" she admitted

"Alright, what is it?"

"Listen, it sounds really weird but, I get this bad, angry feeling whenever I see her with, others, more specifically Lucas" she admitted "He used to kinda have feelings for her" Steve nodded

"What do you feel, more specifically?"

"Um, anger, like I wanna punch this guy right in the face right now, and I also feel sad, like why is she talking to him kinda sad" she looked at him as he chuckled "What is so funny about this?" she asked in disbelief

"It's called Jealous my girl, you are jealous of Lucas" he spoke laughing again

"What no-"

"Steve we got some serious issues to handle here" they heard Dustin

"What is he talking about?" she asked as his mind snapped
