(Cole's POV)

I rubbed my arm nervously as Donald, Scrooge, and I rode up to the police station. Rumor was they'd finally arrested my dad last night, and that they needed me to answer some questions.

If ANYONE knew where Grace was, it was him.

Scrooge put a reassuring hand on my back as we walked through the police station's doors. The officer led us to what seemed to be a questioning room. All that was in there was a table and two chairs. The officer suddenly stopped and turned to us.

"Only the suspect's son is allowed in for questioning," he said gruffly. Scrooge gave me a look that said, "Are you okay with that?" and I nodded, giving the officer a weak thumbs-up.

"Good; follow me, son," the officer replied, letting me into the windowless room. He leaned in to whisper to me: "Don't worry, bud; he's in handcuffs. We just need to get him to talk. And if he tries to hurt you, I'll protect you."

As if that was the cue, another policeman dragged in a man with dark blonde, almost brown, hair and piercing green eyes. His hands, like the officer had told me prior, were bond in handcuffs. He looked at me and sneered.

"Hey, Dad," I growled, clenching my fists underneath the table.

The second police officer left the room, leaving only me, the first officer, and my father in the room. The cop began to speak.

"Mr. Jones, do you recognize this young man?"

"Yeah, he's my son," Dad answered, rolling his eyes.

"Hm," the officer said, flipping through a file. "It says here that you used to be married, sir, and had a son AND a daughter. Is that true?"

A nod from Dad.

"But I see no wedding ring on your finger...why is that?"

Dad looked the officer straight in the eye. "My wife was seeing another man behind my back, and I divorced her after I found out," he said without batting an eye.

I felt heat begin to rise up in my throat. Mom would NEVER do that, and I could've SWORN I saw that jerk smirk at me.

"If you divorced your wife, then where is she?"

"Died. Took her own life after I caught her cheating on me."

"Really? Because your son told us...."

Dad scoffed. "You really believe half the crap that boy tells you? Let me tell ya somethin': that kid's a liar and a thief. And, to top it off, he was such a wimp that he went cryin' to that rich duck's niece. Told the girl a sob story about how I was a terrible dad and hurt my kids to make the girl pity him and then live the good life. He's nothing but a disappo-"

That was it. I slammed my hands on the table, startling everyone. "Don't ever call me that again! And furthermore, never say that I'm just a freeloader and like Julie just for money! I've had to take enough of your abuse for the past seventeen YEARS, and then you have the gall to say I'm making it up? Then how about I show this nice officer the TRUTH?!" I yelled as I pulled out my phone and handed it to the cop.

My father's eyes narrowed. "You wouldn't DARE."

It was my turn to smirk. "Oh, I'd DARE; I uploaded EVERY HORRIBLE THING you EVER did to me and Grace from my video camera onto my phone. And even if you break it," I retorted, seeing the rage in Dad's eyes, "I have it saved to the cloud." I turned to the cop. "Watch away, officer."

I could see the officer's eyes widen in horror as he watched the videos I'd saved over the years. He cleared his throat, took my phone, and handed it to another cop. "Well, Mr. Jones...do you have anything you'd want to say? Anything at all? Because this new evidence that has come to light seems to confirm that what this young man told us is true...and that you lied to an officer of the law."

I saw my father's face turn bright red with anger, knowing he'd lost.

"And, when we bring your daughter in, we'll make sure that NEITHER of your children will EVER be in your care again."

It was my turn to be shocked. "Grace? You-you FOUND her?"

The cop smiled down at me with a reassuring grin. "Yep; thanks to all the flyers Mr. McDuck posted around town, and with a quick DNA test, we were able to find your sister, kid."

My dad chuckled darkly. "I DO have one last thing to say...just to you, son, because you know it's true. I'm your father and I EXPECT you to respect me. But you can't even do that; you just hid behind Mr. McDuck like a COWARD. And I promise you this: once I get out of here, I'll find you and your little girlfriend. And I'll SHOW you how cruel I can be."

I'd had enough. I punched him square in the beak and he toppled over to the floor. Before he could get up, I snatched him by the shirt collar of his orange jumpsuit. For once, it was HIM looking to ME in fear.

"DON'T. EVER. THREATEN. ME. OR. MY. GIRLFRIEND. EVER. AGAIN," I growled before dropping him on the floor and walking out of the room.

I felt my anger wash away in a nanosecond as I saw two officers drag my dad away to the prison. It was finally over. Well...almost.

As I walked away from the interrogation room, we ran into Officer Cabrera. She smiled and took my hand. "Niño, there's someone who wants to see you," she said softly, leading me into a small room. All that was in it was a desk, a chair, and a small couch.

And sitting on that couch was a teenaged girl with dirty blonde hair cut at the middle of her back and soft brown eyes. She was dressed in a ragged, grey dress that reached her knees and hugged her shoulders until she saw me.

The girl gasped and, with tears in her eyes, ran over and engulfed me in a hug. Hardly able to contain my tears anymore, I spun her around with my arms around her torso before I fell to my knees. I held her tight, one hand around her shoulders and one cupping her head. She leaned into my embrace, her happy tears now soaking into my shirt.

And, for the first time in six years, I heard my sister talk.

"I love you."

She looked up at me with teary eyes. "Is he-he-?"

"Shh," I drew out, rubbing her hair. "Don't worry; we don't have to worry about him anymore."

"I love you, too, Grace...it's finally over."
