The next day, I let Uncle Scrooge know that I was taking the jeep to go see my brother and sister-in-law.

"Ok, Julie; but remember: any damage, and it's coming out of your savings!"

"Yes, Uncle Scrooge," I said, rolling my eyes. "I know."

"Where are you going?" I turned to see the boys and Webby. I knelt down to their level. "I'm gonna go see my brother and his wife today. I'll be back before dinner, okay?"

Webby squealed. "Another McDuck?! One I know nothing about? Can I come?"

I giggled. "Sure, Webs."

Scrooge looked at me worriedly. "You think ye can handle Webby on your own, lassie?"

"Don't worry, Uncle Scrooge; I got this," I replied, hugging my great-uncle.

"Give my best to my oldest great-nephew and his wife, okay Julie?"

"Yes, sir."

And with that, we were off.

When we finally arrived, Webby could barely contain her excitement, letting out squeals as we approached the door.

Ok, Julie, I told myself. It's cool. You haven't seen Josh in sixteen years, but that's okay! He's family, and so is his wife! It's fine. It's okay.

I slowly raised my hand and knocked on the door with my knuckles.

The door creaaakkeedd open, squeaking on its hinges.

Webby took out a flashlight and shone it around the room as we walked through the doorway. "Josh?!" I called. "Are you here? It's Julie, your little sister!"

Webby inspected the room. "This place looks like it's been abandoned for weeks, months, even."

"But...the document said that this was the place; why would Josh lie to me?"

There was suddenly a noise from upstairs. "I'll go check it out," I whispered. "Webby, go wait by the car."

She nodded and I went upstairs. The sound was coming from this door. I cautiously opened it.

"Hello? Anyone here?"

I looked around. The room was decorated like...a nursery? But that would mean that...

"Oh, here are the lights!" I said, flicking them on. A cry rang out. I walked over to a crib and gasped.

A little baby duckling with big, blue-green eyes stopped crying to look up at me. Based on its hairstyle, I could assume he was a boy.

"Mama?" a small voice said. I looked to my right to see a small girl with light brown hair and bright blue eyes, wearing a blue and pink nightgown. She looked about four, if not younger.

Her eyes lit up when she saw me. "Auntie Julie!" she cried as she ran over to me and slammed me into a hug.

"Hi, sweetheart," I said anxiously, patting her head awkwardly. "What's your name?"

"I'm Kylee, and that's Jake," she replied, pointing at the baby in the crib.

"How do you know me?" I asked.

"Daddy talks about you all the time! You're Daddy's sister, right?"

Daddy? She must mean Josh, I thought.

"Honey, where's your Mommy and Daddy?"

"I don't know. They just left."

Oh, gosh, I can't just leave them here all alone. I sighed, picking up the baby boy and cradling him in my arms.

"C'mon kiddo; let's get you guys home."

I drove the jeep while Kylee sat in the back and Webby held Jake in her arms.

"How're you going to explain all this to Mr. McDuck?" she asked.

"I'll...figure something out."

An hour later, we arrived back at the manor. I exhaled slowly as Webby passed Jake to me and I knocked on the door. Donald came to the door.

"Hey, Julie! What's-" He stopped, noticing the baby in my arms. "Aw, phooey."

Uncle Scrooge was behind him, and he was wide-eyed at the sight of the little boy.

Oh boy, I thought. This is gonna be hard to explain.
