A Wish

I want nothing more than for you to exist,

For you to stay by my side until I die,

I want nothing more than your body and soul,

But I am a fool to dream such things when -

You do not even exist before my eyes.

Everything vanishes, nothing exists,

Everything has disappeared and fallen

Except for me, why is this true?

I wanted you to stay,

But, alas, things never go anyone's way.

A simple wish for you to stay

Turned so wrong, I apologize

For my existence, I apologize

For loving you when you don't exist.
