Where I End (Book 3 to the Why me series)

Chapter 5 - May 1 2015

Hey guys. So listen, this chapter is going to be kinda weird, I am going to divide this chapter into two. I know I could just have a part one chapter five and a part two chapter five but eh. The first part of the chapter is going to be what happened today and the second part is what I have been feeling and thinking today and I really need to let that out so yeah I hope you guys enjoy!

"What you get on your quiz Kyoko" asked my friend Emi.

"A six out of fifteen" I said laughing. my friend Izumi began to shake her head in disappointment and my friend Emi started to laugh.

"I got a seven out of fifteen and Nariko got eight" she said. I began to laugh a bit more.

"And congratulations to Kaito who got one of the highest scores in the class" said my science teacher.

"Kaito? Really" I said a bit surprised and looked over to him. I shouldn't be surprised, Kaito is like the smartest boy in 8th grade. He was looking at his test for a minute, then he looked up to me and noticed I was looking at him, he then quickly looked back down and left his table. I looked over to Hiro who was looking at me. Our eyes weren't moving. We would have looked away by now but we didn't.

"What" I mouthed to him. He kept looking at me and he shook his head, I quickly looked down to my feet and very slightly blushed, then I was dismissed to my next class.

It was English class and I was in a group with my friends discussing about debate topics and stuff like that. I looked over to my friend Ai who was looking at me but then looked in the other direction, I took out a piece of paper from my notebook and wrote on it then passed it back to her.

Are you looking at Hiro or Kou?

Kou is the name Ai's crush.

Which Hiro? K or M?

Kita

Oh, well yeah because he keeps looking at you...

Seriously. Right now I really want to turn around and look at him but that'll be to weird. What is the deal with Hiro and looking at me? He has been doing that more than usual lately.

I was in History class and assigned into groups for this question thing. The people in my group were Miru, Izumi, Emi, Kaede, Kazuo, and Kaito. Kaito was the group manager so he had to make sure we were commenting and answering the questions. Kazuo thought I should be the manager because he thinks I make a good leader but I rejected.

The conversation began and so far Kazuo was the one talking. I sat across from Kaede and Emi but I moved over in between Izumi and Miru.

"Kyoko would you like to add in anything" asked Kaito.

"Umm..." all of a sudden I began to heat up and I felt warm. Were my cheeks turning red? Why all of a sudden? Kaito just asked me if I would like to add anything then I-

Wait a sec...this has happened before with Kai and Hiro now with Kaito. I couldn't possibly like Kaito right. Ugh no no no no no no NO! Me Kaito never. Never ever ever.

"Umm...well I think this speech could cause harm to the future because people will like read it and like get mad over it and stuff and it could start a war and yeah" I said with my head down. Still blushing.

"Ahh...okay I'll count that in" said Kaito looking down. Me and Kaito...never....

After school came around and I was just hanging out talking to my friends Hiro, Mami, Caspy, Haruna, Ken, Makoto, and Kyo. Everything was okay and stuff, then it was time for Hiro to leave.

"Bye guys" he said walking while waving his hand in the air.

"Bye" I said waving.

"Later Hiro" said Mami (ninjafightingpanda ) also waving.

I turned back around and continued to talk until I noticed I became silent. My head began to turn to the right and I was confused, was I controlling it or not? My head kept turning but stopped when I made eye contact with Hiro in his car.

What's happening. I feel so weird. I feel this weird feeling I haven't felt in a while. My eyes widen. Oh I know what this feeling is. By now I was probably blushing but I raised my hand to say goodbye to Hiro but once he saw me his eyes grew a bit bigger and he looked down. I slowly lowered my hand down and turned my head back around.

I know what just happened right there. I thought it would never happen between me and Hiro again but it did. And...I now know something that I now think is 100% true. Hiro...Hiro Kita...likes me...and I don't think his feelings have ever changed for me. Even if he says they did...
