Chapter 33 - June 10 2015

"Is it okay if I drop you off on the side" asked my mom.

"Yeah sure" I said. I told my mom bye then left the car. As I walking I was thinking about Kaito, I was still super surprised on what Makoto told me. I wish I would talk to Kaito though, I mean I want to but I get super nervous and I end up blushing as hell. That happened all the time with Kai.

Okay I have an idea next time I see Kaito I'll talk to him. I look up and I see Kaito looking at me as he was walking from the other direction. Seriously? My eyes widen a bit but then I look down. What the heck! That was a stupid move, you should have said "Hi" or "Good Morning", stupid me.

I walked into the gate with Kaito behind me, I started to feel heat rising up. I really do hate it when that happens. I spot my friend Haruna, hooray I won't go to my line alone.

"Hi Kyoko" she said with a cute smile.

"Hello Haruna" I said with a huge smile on my face, I was still really happy.

"I read that chapter" she said in a lower voice. (Chapter 31 of Where we End).

"Oh yeah...that" I said still smiling.

"You know he is or was behind your right" she said "pointing" with her eyes. I nodded my head then the line began to move. When I got at my math line my friends were asking why I was so happy, the only person I told was Caspy. My other friends were asking but I didn't tell them.

The first thing I did when I got to my science class was tell my friend Izumi everything, she was super happy for me. Izumi has always hated Hiro, even when me and him were dating, but Izumi still thought we were a cute couple. But once Hiro broke my heart she got so mad and she told me never to go back to him, but now that I like Kaito and all that other stuff she is super happy.

When it was passing period my teacher let us out a little late. I passed by the advanced math class, which is the class Kaito is in. I spotted him looking at me from a distance but once I got closer he turned all the way around and looked out on to the black top. When he did that it gave me a memory of Hiro, in 7th grade I would always pass by his class and he would always be the first one there. When I was distant he would look over to me but once I got close he would turn all the way around and act natural.

In 6th period I was running the mile, well kinda...

"Kyokoo wait up" I heard someone yell from behind me, I turn my head and see my friend Eli running over to me.

"Hello Eli" I say out of breath.

"So...tell me about Kaito" she said with a smirk on her face.

"Oh yeah...you read that chapter didn't you" I said blushing a bit, she nodded with a smirk still on her face.

"Have you talked to him" she asked.

"...no..." I said mumbling.

"You know you have to talk to him some time Kyoko cause nothing will happen if you say nothing"

"Yeah I know I know...its just that I don't know what to talk about and I think it would be to weird if I just went up to him and said "Hi Kaito""

"Ahh, I see. I think you should just tell him you like him"

"Nooooo! I definitely cannot do that. If I do then his friends are going to keep bothering me and him, then Aiko is going to get crappy with me and yeah..."

"Who gives a crap! You can't just sit and keep thinking what if what if what if, and you'll also regret it later"

"Yeah I know...I don't want anyone to bother me" I said lowering my head.

"Don't worry that's understandable" said Eli. We both decided to run again so we did, we ran until I noticed I was getting closer and closer to Kaito and his friends.

"Yeah you can go on without me" I said trying to catch my breath. "I'll catch up with you in a bit"

Eli stopped and waited for me. "Come on Kyoko, you can jog on the left side of me so when we pass them up there you can be a bit closer to Kaito"

"Wait hold up...I have an idea" I said lowering my voice. Eli smiled then walked next to me. "Okay this is how it'll go. I'm going to sprint and pass by Kaito then you will jog in the back of me and tell me if Kaito looks over to me okay"

"I got you" Eli said, then she began to jog. Eli went a bit ahead of me then she looked back to me and I knew that was my time to start running. I took off sprinting, it didn't take me long to catch up to Eli and once I passed her I continued to sprint, then I passed by Kaito and once I did I kept running until I knew it would be okay to stop.

"Kyokooo" cried out my friend Eli. I slowed down a bit then started to jog backwards and I waited for Eli to catch up.

"He looked at you" cried out Eli. "He was looking straight then once you passed by him he moved his eyes over to you"

I smiled "Seriously?" Eli nodded her head. Me and Eli spent the rest of the period jogging and talking, a couple people asked who I like and I ended up telling them. Goro was grossed out and my 7th grade friend Junko was surprised. Was it that shocking?

When I was walking over to the girls locker room my friend Eli stopped me.

"Hey Kyoko can I tell you something"

"Yap what is it" I said.

"You know, I don't think your going to end up with Hiro. I honestly think you will end up with Kaito"

"Aw thanks and I don't really care about Hiro. I don't like him anymore"

"Okay then, but you know why I say that" she said with a soft smile.

"Why" I ask.

"Because if you really loved the first one you wouldn't have fallen for the second"

My eyes widen I my face lit up. "Oh my gosh that is so true! Thanks Eli"

I love that quote! It's really true...but when I think about it more, Hiro fell for Aiko first and me second, does that me Hiro will end up with me? Or will I end up with Kaito?
