After driving home, everyone seemed to gather around the pool. Except for the moms, who stood inside, and Conrad who was still out.
After driving home, everyone seemed to gather around the pool. Except for the moms, who stood inside, and Conrad who was still out.
Melanie walked out of the house, sporting a light blue bikini. Nobody had notice her appearance that she finally made outside. Everyone had seemed to be engulfed into their own thing.
Melanie being Melanie, saw this as a perfect opportunity to splash everybody. She began to run-giving her a better jump.
She wrapped her arms around her knees, bringing them to her chest. Water shot up, as soon as her body had hit the water.
Everyone's hands were quick to fly over their faces, turning around, hoping to avoid being splashed. When her head broke the top of the water, she watched the groups faces contort into grins, like they knew exactly what one another were thinking. Hands flying down to the water, lifting up to splash the culprit, that had splashed them.
Melanie turned the other way, covering her face in attempt to shield herself from the splashes. She dunked herself under the water, swimming as fast as she could to the edge of the pool. Once she neared the edge, she resurfaced, lifting herself up and out of the pool.
Splashes we're still being thrown her way, even when she had climbed out of the pool. She stuck her tongue out, in a taunting motion, once she realized the splashes couldn't reach her anymore.
Her eyes followed Jeremiah, watching him push himself off the edge of the pool, landing him onto the concrete that surrounded the pool. Realization hit the girl, realizing he was going straight for her. "Hey,hey. Stay right there" Melanie held her hand out in front of her, slowly backing up.
Fearful laughs left her mouth, as she continued to back up. "Nope" Jeremiah simply said. As soon as the words left his mouth, his slow walk, turned into a full sprint.
"Shit" Melanie screamed, trying to run away. Melanie's feet carried her all the way around the pool, still running away from Jeremiah. But that didn't even matter.
In a matter of seconds he was right behind Melanie. His hands went straight to Melanie's waist, throwing her over his shoulders. Right when her body hit his shoulders, he sprinted to the side of the pool, and jumping. Everyone whooped and cheered, laughs erupting from their mouths as both Melanie and Jeremiah fell into the water.
Melanie fell off of Jeremiah's shoulders as soon as their body hit the water. She felt a slight stinging sensation in her nose. The water went straight into her nose, once her body hit the water, leaving it to sting in her nose and throat.
