Chapter 2

I stayed at the castle for a week, and during that time I got to know the royal family. Every member of the family was loved and cherished by the kingdom, they assisted everyone to the best of their abilities and made sure to protect them.

The King and Queen are called Norza and Zamina, firm but fair rulers who are compassionate to their kingdom.

Abbas is the Firstborn and his sister Yamina is the second oldest they were twins, she however has blonde fur and blue eyes.

Terran is the third oldest and from what I can gather is a bit of a trouble maker but has a knack for business, his other siblings are only ten years old and are triplets. Jamina, Heima and Filania and are very curious and love to play games.

On the start of my second week I met Karma the owner of the Inn I was hoping to work at, Abbas made the introductions and asked if he could wait in the garden he was given permission.

Karma is a leopard Werelion like most of the Werelion clan like Abbas and his family she can remain human, Werelion, or in between. She told me she prefers to be in between like most of the Werelion tribe.

Her fur is sandy with spots and her eyes are a lovely amber-green colour, her ears are slightly shorter than some females and her tail is longer.

"Good morning Miss Y/N, Her highness told me a little about you and that you would like to work here. Can you tell me why?" Karma asked as we sat down in her office.

"I like to help feel comfortable in new environments, as well as meeting new people," I said simply

"One of the best answers, you got the job. We have a staff bedroom you can use and another member of in-house staff, she doesn't want to take over the business yet, do you require clothes?" Karma asked

"I have some clothes, I can buy more when I need to" I smiled

"Haha, you are like me. 'Buy what you need, when you need it. I have some old but new clothes here you can use in the staff bedroom, I'll show you to your room" she smiled.

Karma was only just showing her baby bump, I followed her to the staff floor which had four bedrooms. Karma's and her husbands were first, then Annette and then my room and an empty room. My room was like a ballroom compared to the pack house, pale pink walls, a small chandelier, an en suite, wardrobe, drawers, and a fluffy rug, a double bed with fresh bedding, a small balcony with that overlooked part of the forest, and below the balcony was Abbas sunbathing.

"You can have gentlemen callers over just let the staff know beforehand out of curtesy, we will go over the duties in a moment. In here are some clothes you can use, payday is the tenth of every month and you are allowed to keep your tips" she explained.

We spent an hour going over my duties and meeting the other worker Annette, she is an amazing person and I could see us being fast friends. I would officially start work tomorrow for today just get to know my new home. I excused myself and went to Abbas to tell him the news, i found him on a sun lounger overlooking a river.

"Prince Abbas" I said with a smirk

"Ugh, I said no titles. Just Abbas, how did it go?" he asked springing up

"I got the job, sorry to keep you waiting we were going over my duties and the rules. I am so grateful that I met you, thank you" i smiled with a tear in my eye.

"Y/N, you have no need to thank me. I should be thanking you, for allowing me to meet you. Don't cry" he smiled standing up and giving me a reassuring hug.
