DANIEL QUITE ENJOYED KUMIKO'S COMPANY.

He was watching the incredibly beautiful — and talented — Okinawan teach her dancing classes, as she danced around with all of the small adorable children. Daniel found it quite hard to take his eyes off of the girl who, in the middle of her graceful dancing, sent him fleeting glances.

But something else caught his eye rather quickly — Ophelia walking past the entire scene, completely oblivious to everything except for a boy walking next to her. The blue-eyed girl was laughing almost hysterically at something that the boy must have said or done. Daniel had no idea who this boy was, but that had no effect on the unknown emotions starting to bubble up in his stomach.

Focus on Kumiko, Daniel mentally told himself. Ophelia is not the one. Kumiko is.

But something in the back of the boy's mind told him he was wrong; that he should have gone up to the girl and swept her off of her feet, and told her that she is the one for him, and she always was – he just was always too stubborn to admit it to himself.

But, then again, Daniel found his eyes fall right back onto Kumiko, as he bit the inside of his cheek. Why he tortured himself with these held-in feelings, he didn't know. But all he knew was that he had to find out who Ophelia's new mystery boy was. So, he started to follow her; he figured he would come up with some lame excuse to tell Kumiko later on how he completely ditched her and her dancing class.

Daniel lingered behind the two of the teenagers, so he could do some, 'detective work', as he liked to call it. Well, he called it that so it wouldn't register in his mind as creepy.

The boy followed the two teenagers all the way to the hut where Daniel and Ophelia were staying with Mister Miyagi. The two of them stopped at the door, exchanging a few words with each other. But then, the boy did something that made Daniel's heart plummet into his stomach.

The mystery boy leaned over to the blonde girl, giving her a quick peck on her lips.

The only thing that was running through Daniel's mind was, 'who the fuck is this random dude and why the fuck is he kissing her?'

And as soon as Ophelia disappeared into the house and the boy walked off, the jet-black haired boy found himself speed-walking into the residence right behind her, anger bubbling up in his chest as he now faced a confused-looking girl, Mister Miyagi right behind her.

"Ah, Daniel-San! What a surprise," Mister Miyagi jeered out joyfully with surprise to see him, "I thought you were with girlfriend."

"Kumiko's not my girlfriend," Daniel remarked, mostly ignoring the man's statements as he immediately turned his focus back onto Ophelia. "So, who's the new boy of the month?" He couldn't stop the snarkiness from creeping into his harsh tone.

"Excuse me?" Ophelia scoffed at him, as her eyes defensively narrowed at him.

"You heard me," Daniel rolled his eyes, scoffing back at her. "Don't act like you weren't just getting all cozy and kissy with that boy outside! Who is he?"

The blonde haired girl laughed with bitterness oozing from her voice. She threw her arms up as she started to storm off. "You sound like my Mother! Do me a favor, Daniel; leave me alone and go off with your own distraction!"
