"NOW, OPHELIA~SAN," mister miyagi started as he pulled into the beach's overview.
"remember last party and what happened. no fighting tonight, understand?" mister miyagi firmly ordered the young girl, who rolled her eyes yet nodded as she got out of the car.
"right now is 7:30pm," miyagi informed the girl. "i pick ophelia~san up in hour, at 8:30pm okay?" he asked, and ophelia nodded obligingly.
miyagi nodded back, pulling out of the parkling lot, leaving the mentally debating girl alone in the parkling lot as she looked down at the campfire that a bunch of teenagers were huddled around.
"ah, what the hell, why not." ophelia whispered out to herself before jogging slowly down the sand dunes to the sea shore where the loudly chattering teenagers were.
but her frown was soon replaced by a smirk when she saw who a few of the teenagers were by one of the campfires. she sprinted up to her old friend, freddy fernandez, and ruffled his hair from behind.
this earned a loud and squeaky, 'hey!' from the young boy, but when him and his little nerdy friend group turned around, they all grinned at the girl.
"aye, lia! what's happenin, baybee!"
"hey, lia! we missed ya, where were you all summer?" one of the boys exclaimed, patting her on her back, making her punch his shoulder jokingly.
"i've been avoiding you fuckers," she wisecracked, earning sarcastic chortles from the group.
"hey, lia, have you met daniel here? he's new in town!" freddy informed ophelia, making her heart stop as she looked over to the one and only daniel larusso, the boy she had been thinking about non stop ever since she had met him.
daniel looked over at the ruckus, and his eyes met ophelia's and he grinned brightly. "hey, ophelia! convince that guy to fix my faucet yet?" he joked, and ophelia laughed, nodding her head sheepishly.
"yup, you know it! we'll be over tomorrow," she winked, making the poor boy's cheeks turn a rosy pink. he thanked the skies above that it was dark so nobody could see him blush.
but the topic was shortly converted to the blue eyed blonde across the beach from them. ali mills. freddy pointed to her, nudging daniel a bit as he smirked. "see there? i think she likes you."
"c'mon, freddy, she likes everyone." ophelia exclaimed, laughing. but nobody laughed with her, just scoffed at her. daniel furrowed his eyebrows as he wondered, what did she have out against the blonde girl?
