[{Chapter 20}]

Birds chirping was giving me peace. Fresh air made me smile a bit in my sleep. I was feeling so much peace and if it's a dream, I don't wanna open my eyes.

To make myself more comfortable, I turned around without opening my eyes and hugged whatever found beside me. Mmm~~ It feels so good to sleep like that. But, why am I feeling unfamiliar vibe from my surrounding?

With a little frown on my face, I opened my eyes slowly to see a wall made of well-polished wood. Wait-Where am I?

I immediately sat up and saw an unfamiliar room. This room was beautifully decorated by wood and everything about the room screams neat, clean and peace. I looked behind me and saw a window which showed the full view of a.........Jungle? What the hell! I am in a jungle? How?

"I brought you here."suddenly someone spoke making me jump in shock. I immediately turned back and saw a guy sitting on the couch beside me, doing something in a laptop infront of him. And it was none other than MOONBIN.

"What are you doing here? What am I doing here? Where is this place? Why we are in jungl-"

"Will you stop questioning and let me speak?"he cut me off in an irritated tone. I immediately shut my mouth. He then looked at me before speaking.

"You were laying in this jungle with an injured foot. After falling unconscious, I brought you here. And before you ask, this is my personal house."he said and realization hit me. Yeah, I was injured. And he used his power on me.

"Umm...Why does your healing power makes me sleep?"I asked him.

"It's a side effect."he replied shortly earning a nod from me and then he looked at his laptop.

"You said it's your personal house. What did you mean by that? I mean, why do you have it in the first place?"I asked him in curiousity. Well.....I just want to know.

"I personally made it for myself cause sometimes I want to have some peaceful and alone time."he said without toring his eyes from the laptop screen. I just nodded my head and roamed my eyes around the room. He is right. A person can get a huge amount of peace here. And if anyone wants to refresh their mind, then I will suggest them to come here.

I was still looking around the room in awe when he broke the silence between us by sighing. I looked at him as he closed the laptop and faced me.

"Now tell me truthfilly. What were you doing in the middle of this jungle?"he asked me a little bit sternly.

"What were you doing there?"I questioned back and emphasized the 'you' word purposely. He again sighed before replying.

"We are going to make a big house there so that the poor villagers who has no shelter to stay can live there for free. So I went there to see the place when I saw your clumsy self laying there."I mouthed an 'O' understanding him. But suddenly one of his words caught my attention.

"I am not clumsy!"I said while glaring at him angrily.

"If you aren't clumsy, then tell me. Why were you injured?"

"Because I was running in a fast speed to release my restless emotions but unfortunately-"

"Restless emotions?"he cut me off by asking question. I gulped slowly and bite my tongue inside my mouth, scolding myself internally.

"That's none of your business. Just....just stop talking about that."I said while avoiding his eyes. Gladly he got the clue and didn't ask me anything further.

After sitting in silent for sometime, he spoke.

"Are you hungry. Cause it's lunch time already."I shook my head as a 'no' as I wasn't hungry at all. He didn't said anything and stood up from the couch. Then he started walking away from the room when I said 'stop' making him stop.

"What did you mean by 'I am special to you'?"I didn't wanted to ask the question now but my wolf was making me crazy. Plus, my heart also wanted to know the answer.

"Just rest."he said without turning around and was about to walk away but I don't know what got into me that I stood up and held his hand, preventing him from leaving. He finally turned around and looked at me with a surprised face.

"Answer me. What did you mean by that statement of yours?"I asked again.

"Nia, I am telling you to take rest-"

"No! Answer me first. What did mean by that? Why did you said that whatever I do is your business? Why did you mean by all the things you said before I fainted, just tell me!"

"Don't make me loose my patience, Nia. It won't be good for you."he spoke while gritting his teeth.

"What will you do, huh? Kill me? Then do it. But answer me first, damn it!!"I yelled the last sentence after yanking him close to me by his collar.

"I am warning for the last time Nia, Leave. Me."he said dangerously which can make your legs weak. But I composed myself and glared at him. My hands were still gripping his collar.

"No! I WON'T LEAVE YOU!"

"JUST LEAVE ME!"

"NOO-"my yelling got cut by my gasp when suddenly he grabbed my shoulders and pinned me on the wall. His hands were tightly gripping my shoulders but not that tight to hurt me. His face was just an inch away from me which made the situation more intense.

"You wanted to know why I said those words to you, right? Why I said you are special to me, right?" he asked me in his deep voice which I found so sexy. He was looking into my eyes with his brown orbs which made me feel lost. And the position didn't help at all. But I needed to answer.

"Yes...."I said while breathing beavily.

"You are special to me because I love you."he said and without giving me any time to process, he smashed his lips on mine. I looked at him with wide eyes as he kissed me desperately yet gently. His eyes were closed as he poured all of his emotions in the kiss.

At first I didn't respond in shock, but suddenly I don't know what happened, but I kissed him back while closing my eyes. His one hand went to my nape as he deepened the kiss and another one went around my waist. He slowly pressed his body on my mine as I wrapped my hands around his neck unconsciously.

We both kissed like there was no tomorrow. After what felt like eternity, we parted away. My hands were still around his neck and his both hands were now around my waist as we both breathed heavily. I don't know what I was doing. I was someone else's mate and yet I was kissing someone else.

Suddenly I felt his grip around me loosen up as he stepped back. I looked at him confusedly.

"No no no. It's not right. It's not right."without giving me any time to talk, he dashed away from the room. I don't know why, but seeing him regretting his action I felt hurt. I felt pain in my heart.
