Can't you hear my silent screams?

They were so loud to echoed in my every nightmares.

Behind this face that carries the most beautiful smiles, and the loudest laugh

Lies a dark road that goes on mile after mile that was indeed, exhausting.

My silent screams have been going on for years,

But it always falls on so many deaf ears.

Somehow I find it reassuring.

For no one knows what could be happening on me?

How loud and terrifying my screams are?

So when I said “I'm fine!” they would believed my lies and stop worrying about me.

Passing me through—

Unheard and unseen, but it's alright I swear.

I got used of it already but still wished that somehow, somewhere—

There are someone that could hear my silent screams and could make them stop.

Even just for a little bit period of time.
