As the tumult of a fierce battle faded into the distance, the roar of two helicopters sliced through the quiet aftermath. With authoritative grace, they moved in, touching down in the center of the village with a heavy thud that sent tremors through the ground below. The swirling wind whimpered around, stirring up the dust and debris that lingered from the recent turmoil and carried with it a mixture of urgency and hope.

From the second helicopter, Kira Narukami emerged, the Second Rank Knight and heiress of the prestigious Narukami Clan. As she stepped onto the ground, her long blond hair danced wildly in the wind, shimmering like rays of sunlight amidst the darkened shadows of destruction. She paused momentarily, her blue eyes scanning the wreckage and chaos of the village—crumbling walls, scattered debris, and a faint echo of intimacy that clung to the air, marred by the remnants of despair and violence.

"What in the world happened here?" Kira wondered aloud, disbelief shadowing her voice as her gaze swept over the shell of what had once been a close-knit community. In the distance, however, laughter broke the haunting silence, and Kira caught sight of the villagers working together amidst the debris, their determination creating a stark contrast against the devastation that had claimed their home.

"Seems quite the battle we missed," came the voice of Corporal Marika Albarea, stepping bravely from the helicopter beside her, fully healed from their previous mission. Her crimson eyes flicked across the site with intense concentration as her senses engaged. "Our scanners did pick up quite the fluctuation of Mana," she added, her analytical nature taking control.

As soldiers from Delta and Beta Squads exited the helicopters, securing the perimeter with practiced precision, Kira's gaze shifted once more to the gathering crowd of villagers. It was not lost on her that among them stood two of her beloved comrades, Rose Atarah and Yuma Lionheart. They appeared battered but alive, their presence emboldening her heart with a mixture of relief and simmering concern.

With an urgency underscored by unyielding care, Kira took off toward them, her long strides carrying her forward, their safety overshadowing everything else. "Rose! Yuma!" she gasped upon nearing them, the emotion that surged within her impossible to contain. Without thinking, she pulled them into a fierce embrace.

"You two... are okay?" Kira's voice trembled slightly, her normally icy demeanor softened in the heat of a moment that brought frank vulnerability to the surface. "I was so worried! I had begun to fear the worst..." The concern she felt for them pulled at her heartstrings. She was well aware of the dangers they faced, and the thought of losing them was something she could not bear.
