As Rose and Kuzuri continued to stare each other down, a sense of recognition flickered in Rose's eyes. "So... you're this Kuzuri that these outlaws have been mentioning," she stated, her tone almost knowing. Kuzuri, the red-haired dark elf, couldn't help but gulp slightly, her thoughts racing. "After failing our last mission... can we do this? I can tell just by standing here. She's comparable to Chief Reyes..." she pondered; her mind filled with doubts.
Rose, looking down at her hand and reassuring herself, shook off any wavering thoughts. "No... Reyes had that artifact which gave him an advantage. This time will be different," she affirmed, putting her mind back into focus as she gripped her twin katanas. The two warriors began sizing each other up, analyzing weaknesses and strengths.
'She has one arm and an eyepatch, but the Five Deadly Venoms clearly are afraid of her. Which means... those aren't handicaps at all' Rose deduced, realizing that Kuzuri possessed far greater power than her physical appearance portrayed.

Seizing the opportunity, Rose spoke up, her voice filled with a mix of curiosity and determination. "Why... why are you doing this? Attacking this innocent village? What do you hope to win here?" she questioned, genuine curiosity burning in her gaze. She wanted to understand Kuzuri's motive, hoping to find a possible resolution.
Kuzuri, scoffing at the question but amused by Rose's audacity, decided to oblige. "There's a retired wench of the Order here... from the last war," she revealed, her voice laced with a venomous thrill. "My goal was to put that healer's head on a spike." The mention of Tenshi, the one who had helped them recover, sent a chill down Yuma's spine as he still kneeled from the overwhelming pressure.
"But now, seeing that two new knights are here... it works in my favor," Kuzuri continued, unsheathing her own katana as she spoke. A sadistic grin curled at the corners of her lips. "The Order of Knights will now hear our message loud and clear... when we hang the three of you," she chuckled darkly, relishing the thought. Rose's eyes narrowed at the notion, her resolve hardened.
