Kira and Rose walked briskly down the wide metal corridors of the Bushido headquarters, the air thick with the tension of their imminent missions. Sunlight streamed through the expansive windows, casting rays of light over the polished floor as they made their way toward the 7th Division's grounds. The rhythmic sound of their footsteps echoed softly against the walls, a comforting reminder of the purpose they shared.

As they turned a corner, Kira glanced over at Rose, who was deep in thought. "You've been awfully quiet are you worried?. Is everything alright?" Kira asked, her voice a mixture of concern and curiosity.

Rose drew in a slow breath, weighing her thoughts before speaking. "I just... I can't shake the feeling of anxiety. Going back to Amalur means facing the past I've tried so hard to escape. But I also know it's the only way to uncover the truth behind the rebellion and find information that might help Dante. But-.. to be frank.. I cannot see myself going into this without Yuma."

Kira nodded in understanding. "I get that. It's not easy to reconcile our pasts with our present responsibilities. But I want you to know something: we are each other's strength, no matter what challenges we face." She tries to reassure, it was clear as day that whatever happens in that village Rose seemed to trust Yuma more than before. Kira couldn't help but smirk at this realization "we will stop him before he gets in trouble. Okay?"

Encouraged by Kira's earnestness, Rose managed a small smile. "Thanks, Kira. You really have a way of reassuring me. Far from executing me for my ears..." she said sarcastically

Kira sweatdropped "Ah.. Yes well.. I still have to apologize for my reaction. The propaganda of Dark Elves seems to be pure conjecture. One shouldn't judge someone because of where they are from.. it is about who they are. Dante convinced me as much" she smiled back, her confidence coming through as they walked. "Speaking of challenges, I wanted to talk to you about Jinsei. His injunction against Yuma is troubling."

Rose's brows furrowed, surprised by the shift in the conversation. "You're right. I don't understand why he's so against Yuma."

Kira exhaled, her stride steady as they continued toward their destination. "You know, each noble family typically keeps their problems private. It's one of the unwritten rules of our society. Very rarely do they ask for outside help in familial disputes, and it's unusual for one family to openly criticize another without provoking a scandal. Jinsei's behavior is peculiar, to say the least."

"What do you mean?" Rose asked, trying to wrap her mind around the intricacies of noble politics.

Kira glanced around to ensure they were alone. "The Lionheart Clan has always had a reputation for being somewhat insular. They prefer to avoid entanglements with others. Despite their third-ranking position, they hold themselves as if they are superior to the other clans, which has created a rift between them and the others. It's especially evident in how they distance themselves from Yuma."
