She looked so happy,
At least compared to me.
I used to go to her when I had problems,
Assuming she was doing great as always.
All of our conversations revolved,
Around the troubles in my world.
Never did I ever stop to ask her,
Why she wasn't going any further.
Now, I wonder if she'd still be here,
If I had asked her what she'd fear,
Alone, in her own atmosphere.
I wonder how she'd respond,
To all the questions in my head.
I wonder if I could've helped in any way,
Just like she did for me everyday.
But I guess we'll never find out,
Because now, her memories are the only things I got.
