This is an apology letter,
That I can only hope makes you feel better.
I'm sorry I never stood up for you,
Let you down too many times too.
Yet you've stayed strong through it all,
Only crying a bit when you'd fall.
Honey, stand tall,
Take yourself out or go to a mall.
Baby don't cry,
Dab your cheeks dry.
Raise your chin high,
Kings and queens you shall defy.
You're great, oh so heavenly,
Your smile is so bright even when you're lonely.
You're inspirational to many,
The further you go the more you beckon me.
Bewitching, striking, beautiful, and funny,
You breathe life into the deadly.
Trust in the process for you're born to greatness,
Change the world for the best and nothing less.
Girl, I'll carry your weight when you can't,
Fight all of your battles with all my might.
Take my hand and hold on tight,
Your dreams you should never lose sight.
I'll care for your wounds when they hurt,
I'll tend to them carefully even if I'm burnt.
I'll be the shield to your sword,
Fulfill every promise you've told.
I'll be there through thick and thin,
Celebrating your every win.
So, make a toast to the woman of victory,
Pray that the future belongs to SHE.
