You think voiceless is the same as thoughtless,

You think silence is a sign of weakness.

You talk and talk and when I talk you scream,

Turning all my visions into a distant dream.

Have you ever thought that I chose to be silent,

Because I'd given up on you and got tired.

That I'd finally understood talking to you was pointless,

And decided to join the crowd from afar that watches.

I don't like what you do or say,

But I chose to be eyes and ears that way.

I chose to clamp my mouth shut,

And learned not to trust my gut.

Yet unsurprisingly you've failed the  test,

Again you've proved yourself to be a pest.

A worthless existence in place of a being,

A waste of time, an insult to my very being.
