I never knew you were such a great artist,

The evidence is the bruises left on me by your fist.

Worthless,

You said when I went to school on the first day.

Cheap whore,

You yelled at me as you pushed me out of the way.

That was how it all began,

With you doing it for fun.

Till it was fun no more,

And I was there no longer.

You said I looked ugly,

Hence, I wear makeup on me.

You said my skin was the wrong color,

And that's why I always put on fair.

You said I was fat,

And I should stop eating so I won't be laughed at.

I can't eat properly now,

Just thought I'd let you know.

You said no guy will love me,

Because I have nothing he'd see.

My breath caught as it rang true,

'Cause, my dad had told me so.

You hurt me till it hurt no more,

And I couldn't recognize the girl I saw in the mirror.

You broke her beyond repair,

Sometimes I wonder if you remember her.

I don't know what you want from me,

I can't speak when you're around me.

So I let you do what you do best,

Break what's left of her rest.

I wish you read this but then I don't,

'Cause you wouldn't understand, I know you won't.

But I wish I knew why you inflicted pain,

What inspired you and what did you gain?
