It hurts,
Oh it hurts!
When you'd rather be anywhere,
Else......it hurts.
I'm right here waiting for you,
To notice how much I miss you.
But you're up in the clouds somewhere,
And I'm stuck in this darkness no where.
Sometimes I wonder if you can hear me,
Cry myself to sleep, if you'd hug me or mock me.
I'm hurt because I had opened up to you,
And you threw at my face like it meant nothing to you.
It hurts,
Oh how it hurts.
I wish it would stop,
I pray for it to stop.
I don't know what's up,
All I know is my heart is,
Broken beyond repair by your silence.
This is different sort of poem I wrote at my most vulnerable time during the pandemic. I was stuck at my friend's house for 66 excruciating days for her family and I.
