I can stare my fill in class,
Because he never notices,
The feelings in me he inspires.
He seems so oblivious,
To the torment in my heart, he causes,
That I can't articulate with words.
He's so oblivious,
To all the pain he put me through,
Simply because he is,
So gentle, funny, and handsome too.
Oh, I hate her!
How she flips her hair,
Every time he glances in her general direction,
Hoping to make a nice impression.
He doesn't pay attention though,
He's so busy rising from a low.
He pretends he's okay but he isn't,
I've studied him so well he can't hide from me yet.
I don't think he knows I exist,
In my dreams, he does insist,
We stay together forever,
Press pause and stop the hour.
He's so lucky to have someone,
Who loves with no expectations?
I'd expire from happiness if I had a similar chance,
I'd treasure them for it's so very precious.
