That was the best school break of my life. Mom, Renna and I had a fun girls week. We went to see a movie, then we went shopping, mom took us to her office. It was a splendid week.
"I'm super jealous of you right now. You had such fun and I spent mine counting the number of tiles each room had." I laughed at what Diane said.
"You can't be serious."
"But I am. I'm happy to see you happy. Mom said the dinner would be today. Is that okay by you?"
"Yeah totally. Thank you for canceling it last week."
"I feel you. I knew you needed more time with your mom and sis."
"Everyone settle down. Bring out your Economics note and textbook." Our economics teacher said and Diane groaned beside me.
"I hate this man" Diane told me and I chuckled.
"You hate every teacher in this school." I rolled my eyes.
"Well...my hate is justified." She turned to the board.
Kanye walked into the class and I stilled. My eyes trained on him. It wasn't because he walked into the class but how he looked.
"And why are you late to my class, Lamar." The potbellied woman asked.
He gave her no response and made his way to his seat. This seemed to rile her up.
"Am I not talking to you?" He sat on his seat and said nothing.
"La-" she started to say before he cut her off.
"Ma, I have no strength for all these. Just carry on with your teaching." He answered her and she looked shocked. Loads of ewo and e shock am! or e enter!
"What? Stand up and get out of my this instant." She barked.
"You for talk say na wetin you wan do since." He said before walking out of the class.
"Sometimes I just wonder what is wrong with you students. If your mother didn't instill some values in you, just stay home and don't go about disrespecting the mothers of others."
She went on with her lesson and we all listened, maybe not all. This is highschool, not everyone wants to be here in this confined space.
"I have something to tell you." I heard Diane say about fifteen minutes into the class.
"Can it wait till after this woman's class?" She nodded.
"Ensure you do the exercise on page 234, I'm saying from A to J, every single thing." You could hear loud groans from everyone in the classroom.
"To be submitted tomorrow morning before 7am." More groans were heard.
"Can you imagine that? How does she expect us to do all these work before 7 tomorrow? Who does she expect to be in school by 7am? This woman is a clown."
