I woke up to the bright light that tore through my window which could have easily blinded me.
I looked down at myself, I was still in my party outfit.
The memories of last night came flooding back and a big smile stretched on my lips. I had the most fun I've had in a long time.
I spent the greater part of the night talking with Jeremias and that didn't feel weird. I enjoyed talking with him last night.
I went into the bathroom to take my shower, given that I didn't have one the night before.
After I was done with my bathroom business, I changed into a yellow sundress and my furry slides.
I went down the stairs into the kitchen. I was starving literally. The kitchen was empty so I took out Quaker oats pack and made some for myself.
Putting the pan on fire, I put groundnut oil and fried my eggs. In less than fifteen minutes I was done.
I brought out a loaf of bread from the pantry and took it to the dining where I sat to have breakfast.
Not too long later, Renna came downstairs in a pink shirt and blue jeans with a small pink bag.
She looked good on pink but I wasn't going to tell her that.
"Oh you're finally woke. Good thing you fixed something for yourself. I'm going out. Will see you later." I didn't even spare her a glance.
The way she said the good thing you fixed something for yourself was super annoying. Like I haven't been doing it all by myself for the past seven months.
I heard her sigh but still didn't look up at her.
"You do know we'll still have to talk right?" I heard her say but I didn't care. I couldn't give two flying fucks on anything concerning her.
I stood up, cleared my table, did the dishes and went into my room to read a novel. I always hate the weekends because unlike my mates that have quite a lot to do during weekends, like going shopping, going on dates, hanging out with friends or rather family, I always spend mine locked in my bedroom doing random stuffs which I get bored of then retire to bed.
Same boring routine every weekend. No change.
I took my laptop and decided to binge-watch the new American series, One of us is lying.
It was a movie of five teenagers who were put on detention. One of them died, leaving the other four as suspects. An investigation was carried out to figure out the murderer.
It was a nice movie that had everything: Romance, suspense, thriller, betrayal and jealousy.
I eventually got tired of the series and moved over to my phone. I went on Instagram which I barely ever visited.
Why would I? I had only 26 followers when my mates were competing over 23k and the rest.
A post by Kizz Daniel brought a sweet smile on my lips. He posted a picture of himself in green. It was a really nice picture.
