Well Saturday for sure looked thrilling. (kindly note my sarcasm!). I think I'm part of that 1% who hates Saturdays.
Yeah, I know many teenagers cherish Saturdays but I can't just help it.
Like always, I'm bored out of my mind, looking through my window and seeing teenagers, like me, have the time of their lives while I'm stuck up here.
I don't go out mostly cause of two reasons;
1. my mom and sis are overprotective as hell and well;2. cuz I'm too lazy to.
In all, I'm not the outside type. I prefer sitting in my room doing absolutely nothing but complaining about how boring my life is and how interesting the lives of teenagers my age are.
"Hey, we're doing the groceries. Get up!." My annoying sister peeked through my door saying.
"What? I'm not going anywhere with you. I'm busy!!" I screamed.
"Yea, busy watching other people's interesting life. Get out of that bed. I don't want to wait for you downstairs." She said in finality before leaving.
I groaned in frustration and stomped my foot on the Italian royal rug. I looked myself in the mirror and literally cringed at my reflection.
My afro was standing all out in a messy bun. I was clad in simple pink sweatshirt and grey jogger pants and my infamous pink Crocs.
I hurried downstairs to go complain to my mom. Yes, we've been living together with mom, mainly cause she's on vacation from work and my dad isn't home.
"Mom, Renna is forcing me to do grocery with her. It's her turn this week." We rotate the chore list.
"Stop whining and follow her. Grocery this week is much. She needs help and you need to get outside." I sighed in defeat and frowned my face as I walked out.
"Don't tell me you're going out in broad daylight like that!" I heard her yell but chose to ignore as I hurried out in anger.
I hoped into the front seat to see Renna smirking in victory.
I'll do anything to wipe it off her face!
She connected her phone to the car's Bluetooth and began playing her slow, classic boring music.
"We're defo not listening to this shit so long I'm in this car with you." I said putting it on pause.
"Whatever, play what you want so long you're in this car with me." she said winking.
"Lame."
"Bleh." she replied sticking out her tongue.
"You're childish, gosh!" I told her chuckling. She joined too.
I played Asake on repeat. That guy is my best artiste of all time. His recent album is banging dope.
