Nothing much is going on in my boring life. Anything in yours?

I stepped into the big hospital complex. St. Paschal's Hospital was rumored to be the best hospitals in Nigeria and one of the best in Africa.
I continued my journey into the hospital. I used the elevator to Doctor Ayeesha's office. I submitted my appointment card to get secretary and I was let in.
Doctor Ayeesha and I have been able to accommodate each other. She was a nothing but a sweet pain in the ass. She'd never pamper you or anything. She'd tell you that whether you spoke or not, she'd still be collecting payments.
"You're here early. Was the house that suffocating?" I came here every Wednesday after school and on Sundays.
Sunday appointments were the longest. It was four hours straight up. Wednesdays were just two hours max.
"Like you know!" I told her and she dropped the file she was holding and focused on me.
"I remember a time when I used to wait for you and you'd never show up."
"That's because I don't need your help. I'm only here because my father's home and I can't stand his presence." I retorted.
"Everyone who comes here thinks they have no problem until they come in here, talk and realize that they do have problems." If I understood what she said, I didn't show it.
Heck! I don't even understand anything she just said.
"I do not have any sort of problem. I'm just a teenager who has a betrayer of a father and murderer of a step mom."
"What makes you think your father betrayed you and your stepmom is a murderer?" she asked. This has to be the realest conversation we've ever had.
Normally, I'd skip this appointment if my father wasn't home and if he was, I'd come and sit on her lounge till it was over.
"I don't want to talk about it." I said honestly.
"Of course. But eventually, you would have to. I keep telling you, whether or not you speak up and let me help you, I'll still be getting my pay. Huge stacks every month end, so it's your loss not mine."
Of course!
"I don't care about your pay or whatever. It's my father's money not mine. It can all go to hell for all I care."
My mom wasn't even here to enjoy the money they both toiled day and night to make together. My mother was my father's backbone. She should be eating her hardwork.
She handed me a tissue and gave her a questioning glance and she stretched it further. It was then I realized I had been crying. I wiped my eyes furiously.
"We were once a very happy family. Too happy. Then, we didn't even have nearly half of what we have now but we were satisfied and happy-" I paused. I couldn't do this.
"What happened? Kanye, if you want to hurt less, you've got to speak up." she told me slowly and calmly. I nodded.
I was finally ready to let it all out.
