Dom was a piece of shit if he thought that he could convince me he was okay. I watched the slightly disoriented look in his eyes slowly disappear before I turned to wake up Maven.
"Hey, we're landed and I'd rather get out of here before the two devils in the back wake up." I tapped her shoulder and she sat up slowly before she stood up stretching.
"Do you think they're still-" A loud groan and crash of glass stopped us and the plane went silent as we turned towards the back room.
"They're awake." Dom mumbled as he grabbed his phone. We all backed away slowly as the flight attendant opened the door for us to exit the plane.
"I'M GONNA FUCKING KILL HIM." I heard Sage scream and the flight attendant jumped a bit at the sound of that.
"She's still mad. Abort mission. Abort now." Maven turned and ran out and Dom was right behind her. We practically jumped down the stairs and made a run for it to our cars, me in my BMW and Maven jumping in Dom's shiny onyx black Range Rover.
I screeched off first speeding out of the airfield with Dom following closely.
We both had to be hitting 120mph in a 60mph zone and it was perfectly justified since I didn't want to like....die. We drove straight to the estate and parked around the fountain before I got out and ran inside.
"QUIN" I screamed his name and he appeared at the top of the stairway, his regular dark colored suit on and hair pulled back neatly.
"Get in the conference room" Dom walked in, but stayed near the door and I nodded as Maven and I jogged up the stairs and went into the conference room with Quin following after me calmly.
"Mind telling me what this all is about? And where is Sage and Theo?" He took his seat two seats down from the head of the table and I took my seat beside him closest to the head.
"You'll hear when they reach." I answered as Maven sat on the other side of Quin and gave him a small hug to which he returned. A few quiet minutes passed before we heard two gunshots and shouting.
"What the hell?" Quin tensed.
"Oh. Well I guess that's them." Maven laughed awkwardly. The door slammed open and Theo was thrown in, his body sliding over the table and dropping to the floor with a thud.
Dominic walked in and pushed his sister down into a chair, her hair messy and wild.
"Sit the fuck down and listen for once in your damn life." His tone dropped as he got in her face. His fists shook slightly and I almost wanted to tell him to stop. I wanted to make sure he didn't hurt her - even if she was trying to kill us both. He backed up and slammed the door shut before adjusting the cuffs to his dress shirt that was halfway open and crumpled.
