Three hours and fifteen minutes. That's how long it took to get Nia and Daniel. She was currently shaking uncontrollably in my passenger seat while Daniel was sleeping peacefully in his baby seat in the back.

I pulled in through the back and got out of the car. I went into the back and lifted Daniel out before going around and opening Nia's door.

"Get out." I instructed and she did. "Follow me." I turned and walked through the garden and into the estate. I led her upstairs and down many halls until I reached one of our best spare bedrooms. I opened the door and she followed me in.

"I'll make this simple for you." I looked at her as I rested Daniel in the middle of the bed comfortably. "You aren't a prisoner. You are free to walk around, use the kitchen, ask for anything you want. I'll question you tomorrow and after that you are free to leave then or stay until you have to go to your flight." She seemed shocked and I wasn't about to tell her that I'm not as bad as she made me out to be because that would be a lie. I'm one hundred percent a bad person when I want to be.

"Ok...but what about Xyla's sister?" She asked and I sighed. Yes, of course. This was another surprise. Turns out Xaralea and Xyla are sisters, fraternal twins actually. I should have known due to the uncanny resemblance but I would have never thought it possible.

It's quite ironic.

"Yes, Xaralea. She is with my brother and I will fill her in on everything after I get settled." I answered honestly. I walked past her and towards the door. "This door will stay unlocked but you need permission to leave the estate grounds. "Got it?"

"Got it." She repeated and I closed the door behind me as I left. I only made it two steps down the hall when I heard my name. I turned around seeing Danielle.

"Hey, Alicio wanted us here. He's waiting for you inside the meeting room." She smiled warmly, her red hair up in a messy bun.

I nodded and she looked me up and down.

"You look like shit though, after your meeting come back to my room. Okay?" I nodded again compliantly, too tired to ask why. Then I left heading straight to Alicio.

When I found him he was holding a map and a bunch of papers as Natalie and him both worked on something. "Yes?" I spoke as I flopped down in the first chair I found.

"Well, first, I need to come clean to you about-" I raised up a finger to stop him.

"Alicio, I don't care. Whatever you did...don't even mention it. If it didn't result in someone's death then just keep it to yourself." I lowered my hand. "I can't take another surprise." I leaned my head back.

"Ok well, I found a way to get past the contract for Sage." He spoke.

"Yeah?" I closed my eyes.

"I would take my cousin's place and marry her. I would control the Russian mafia and we don't have to make an alliance or unite after I gain control." He said and I sighed before waving a hand.
