"You won't hurt me. You love me too much for that." She whispered and I knew she was only saying that to give herself comfort rather than actually knowing what I was capable of.

"I would and I will if you don't stop lying. This is important for me to know, so stop being so difficult and tell me because I'm getting that information out of you whether you like it or not."

"Are you going to tell me what you and mom were talking about?" She asked.

"No."

"Why not?" I saw the slight rebellion in her eyes. She could have easily told the truth, but my sister happens to be a pathological liar. I can't get the truth out of her unless I force it so I skipped the formalities of asking nicely and went straight to the threats.

"How much did you hear, Sage?" My grip tightened on both of her wrists as my other hand trailed down her neck, my two fingers stopping over her rapid pulse. I would feel it jump if she lied again.

"I didn't hear enough to pique my curiosity." Her pulse jumped and a smile touched her lips. She knew why I was asking. She knew that I didn't want her sticking her nose in my business or digging up information that could potentially ruin this family. She knew and she made sure I knew that she knew.

My anger ticked and I got up quickly, pulling her roughly with me. My hand wrapped around her throat firmly and she screamed as I yanked her towards the bathroom.

Sage knows me, she knows that I don't bluff and I definitely don't make empty threats.

I pushed her into the large shower before turning the cold water on. She gasped as the cold water met her skin.

"You think getting me soaked is going to get you your bullshit answer?" She said angrily as she shoved her hair out of her face. She glared and balled up her fists. She could afford to be angry, because I wasn't anywhere close to being done with her, not until she tells me the truth. "You know what? You're acting just like dad." She blurted. It took a few seconds for something to pass her eyes before the fading emotion became regret.

"I can show you exactly how dad used to act." I didn't spare her another glance after her comment. I reached in the corner of the bathroom and grabbed a towel.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. It just slipped out and you know you are nothing like him." She apologized but I was over it.

"I do not care whether you meant it or not." I grabbed her, forcing her to her knees, then further down until her back was against the tiled floor of the shower.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." She spat out water as it got in her mouth and I held her down to the shower floor. "Dom stop, I apologized already."

"Are you ready to tell me everything you heard?" I asked and she kept her mouth shut. I'll give her three minutes max in here before she spills everything. "That's what I thought"
