My brothers have a temper and that is no secret. One would think Dominic is the one to be wary of since he gets mad more frequently, since he has bigger reactions, but the one people should be scared of is Damien.

Damien stores the emotion until he can't anymore. Even if he is mad, you would never be able to tell because he always keeps that stupid grin on his face. He'll let you walk into his territory, just enough until it's too late to turn back and then he strikes.

"Mind telling me what you and Dom were referring to?" I mumbled and Alicio shot me a glare that basically said 'shut up because now isn't the time to ask'. "I'm just saying." I groaned. "Whatever it was about, Dom didn't mean it. You know he says stuff just to piss you off and being you, you let him do it every single time. Why is Dom the only one who can get you angry that quick?"

I sat upside down on the couch, my legs hanging over the back of it as my head fell back over the edge of the seat.

"Dom knows what hurts and he picks at it on purpose." Damien says. Well no shit Sherlock.

"I just want to know what you saved him from." I studied my finger nails.

"You'll never find out from him because he would die before he admits it and I would rather not talk about it so figure it out yourself." He mumbled and I frowned.

"Aww come on. At least give me a hint of where to start." I turned my head a bit to get a better look at my brother and his bleeding hand from punching the glass cabinet. Liv left because she couldn't bear to see her kitchen get ruined again.

"The smirk on your face, wipe it off because it's not funny. It ruined us." My smile faltered.

"If it ruined you both then why did Dom throw it in your face? Why did he blatantly say that to you if it's a sensitive topic?" Confusion filled my eyes. I mean how bad could it really be?

"That's what he does. He throws sensitive topics in your face." Damien scowls and I pull my thighs to my stomach before rolling over so I'm sitting properly.

"A hint Damien." I demand and he rolls his eyes as I stare back at him.

"No" He glanced at Alicio and I looked between them.

"Alicio please step out while I talk to my brother please." He gave both of us one last look before he left, leaving us alone. "If I start digging, I won't stop. You might as well tell me." I shrugged.

He paused. "Remember when dad was alive?" He mumbled and the color drained from my face. Of course our father traumatized them somehow. "Remember the screaming? I know you remember it." My stomach flipped as I remembered the way Dom screamed for the first time one night. It started on their ninth birthday. It was January 31st at exactly 11:00pm. I was with Damien that night and we were allowed to stay up late because it was their birthday.
