Part 2 to the Tenner Bet 😁💋
Relaxing in bed, Jotaro allowed his muscles to have a bit of a rest after the bizarre day prior. He felt like he was getting old now, his joints were starting to click and grind when he moved, coffee was a godsend to him and he frequently used the words "my wife" and "my daughter" in conversation. The same went for you: you had totally grown out of the bratty teen you were ten years ago... Mostly. You complained of backache and lack of sleep after bearing his child, and you were beginning to notice wrinkles despite not even being thirty! (Jotaro said he didn't notice... He's a good liar.)
Eventually, you emerged from the en suite bathroom, steam following you in a cloud. The radio played from behind you, belting out an old tune you recognised because of your husband.
"Fucking hell, this is old," he remarked, sitting up and cringing with a smirk at your terrible singing voice and tourist's lyrics. "You can't speak Japanese, woman. Stop trying; you're butchering my language."
Ignoring him, you continued to flit and flail around in your towel, singing the English chorus with ease before flopping beside him in bed. He exhaled, simply staring at you with a straight mouth. "You're fucking annoying, do you know that?"
"So are you. You're grumpy and irritating."
He took note of your pensive expression, drifting off as you considered something.
"What is it?"
"I'm just thinking about that shitty Walkman you trashed in the desert." Pinching the bridge of his nose, he sighed.
"I knew you were going to bring that up. I haven't listened Mariya Takeuchi in years, okay?" Pausing, you were pulled from your daydreaming and reeled in by his crystal eyes. A small smile tugged on his lips as he remembered the stupid Walkman. He fucking loved it, it was the pride of his life way back when. "It was nice to hear it again. Not to hear you squawking it, though."
"You're so intolerant," you teased, stealing a kiss from him with a grin before jumping from the bed, accomplished. It wasn't much of a steal, since he didn't try to fight you or push you away.
Moments like this secretly pleased him. It did a good job reminding him that he was entitled to a normal life, despite living such an abnormal one.The events of the morning played on his mind until the afternoon, his lack of focus being picked up by Koichi.
"Mr Jotaro, is everything okay?"
"Mm..." Jotaro stared you out from the picnic blanket as you pratted around with his young uncle and the boy's best friend, Okuyasu. They loved your fun attitude and positive outlook on life, joining you as you sung old songs from back in yours and Kujo's day, as they played on the radio station at the park.
"You looked lost in thought... What were you thinking about? If you don't mind me asking of course!!" Koichi waved his hands frantically to avoid backlash, to which the older man gestured off.
"These songs... She's singing them because they were... Popular; when we met." Flushing a little across his cheeks, he tried to keep his composure by gripping onto the brim of his hat. "She's acting stupid."
"I like Mrs Kujo very much. She's a positive woman with a powerful stand." Smirking, the marine biologist tsked at the young man. No matter what Kujo said, he wouldn't get it anyway, because he didn't know about the tenner bet.
"You can keep her if you like," he joked, making the schoolboy turn a little pink. Averting his eyes, Koichi asked the awkward, million dollar question just as you returned to the blanket.
"How did you meet?"
His heart fluttered as he shot a glance at you, thinking back.
"She tried to kill me under DIO's mind control. It's hardly romantic.""Now, I don't believe in any of that love at first sight bullshit - But, something did hit different with Y/N." There was actually just a lot of sexual tension between two teenagers.
